Best Val d'Isere Apres Ski and Nightlife

Recognising that après-ski beers and dancing the night away are key elements of many of our guests' ski holidays, we've compiled a selection of our favourite bars in Val d'Isere below.

One of the most infamous après ski venues in the Alps. This place provides an open air party, on the piste. Check it out from 14:00 (weather dependent) to enjoy live musicians, cabaret and an après-ski party like you’ve never experienced before!

• Easy pedestrian access via the La Daille gondola
• Prime Time: Cabaret every day from 12:30 to 14:00, Clubbing from 14:00 to 17:00
• Speciality: Themed shows every Monday, Wednesday and Friday

You can ski from the bottom of La Face almost right up to the bar at this après spot, affectionately known as "Cocos" by its loyal fans. A live band gets the party started before a DJ takes over from 18:00 to 20:00. You will definitely spot your chalet hosts here on their day off.

• Open every day from 15:00 to 21:00 (Sundays until 02:00)
• Conveniently located at the bottom of the ski slopes by the Rond Point des Pistes
• Over 18s only

Centrally located next to the Hotel Ormelune, this chilled bar serving up all your classic drinks to a mixture of Jazz and funk is a favourite with British ski instructors and seasonnaires. 

• Atmospheric and friendly with nibbles and specials at après (15:00-18:00)
• Giant screens showing sports matches
• Table football and regular pool tournaments

Downstairs bar below a traditional restaurant serving good value cocktails, it can be quite busy with loud music. 

• Happy hour from 16:30 to 19:30
• Resident DJ every night until 01:30

Located opposite the Post Office, this is the best snooker and pool venue in town. There's also a top level sound system for great parties. They serve a mean Mojito! Phil & Al play an acoustic set on a regular basis, which is well worth seeing.

Popular Danish bar, restaurant and live music venue serving English breakfasts, lunch and dinner. Live après-ski music daily with different bands throughout the week.

• Happy Hour between 16:00 - 17:00 and 21:00 - 22:00

• Draught Guiness, IPAs & cocktails

Guests and visitors, locals and ski instructors all enjoy the lively atmosphere and good music at Victor’s, not to mention the famous cocktails.

Rugby-lovers will be right at home at The XV Bar, which is half-mountain hut and half-rugby club dressing room. The rugby theme continues through to the rugby ball-shaped beer glasses, while matches are shown on large screens dotted around the bar. 

• Cocktail menu with expertly-mixed drinks such as Pina Coladas, Bloody Marys, White Russians and Tequila Sunrises

Located in the Blizzard Hotel in the centre of Val d'Isere, this spacious and elegant bar is great for quiet pre-dinner drinks in front of a roaring log fire. 

• Table service with nibbles is provided
• Lots of comfortable sofas

This warm and welcoming bar is a great place for an après-ski drinks or for even an after dinner nightcap next to their cosy open fire place. Located within the Hotel Tsanteleina near the main lifts, it's the ideal place to unwind after a day on the slopes.

This elegant restaurant & bar serves up delicious cocktails in a sophisticated setting...

Infamous in the Alps, Dicks is a busy club with a dance area overlooked by an impressive VIP island. Free admission before 23:00, drinks are fairly expensive.

Plan your trip to Dicks Tea Bar:

• Tables can be booked in advance (recommended for big groups)
• Open until 05:00
• Premium vodkas and champagne
• Resident DJ

The newest addition to Val d’Isere’s club scene. This French run nightclub often has live bands on Friday night. You’ll find it under the piste near the Rond Point des Pistes.
