For the last few years, our team of nannies have raised money for Katie’s Ski Tracks. They have raised approximately £1,000 each year, a very noble effort. This season they smashed all previous targets and raised a whopping €3127.57 (or roughly £2400). We’re thrilled that they have raised enough money this winter for one child to enjoy an amazing trip of a life time.
Our nannies and the children on holiday with us organised a variety of family activities and competitions during half-term. Their fundraising efforts included busking, face painting, quiz nights, cake sales, Alice in Wonderland tea party, guess the sweets in the jar, name the teddy and raffles. Two nannies also donated their babysitting money earned that week!
Why we donate to Katie's Ski Tracks…
Katie's Ski Tracks is a registered UK charity that takes disadvantaged children with life-threatening or life-limiting medical conditions, disability, or extreme social problems, on an adventure Skiing Holiday of a Lifetime - without their parents or carers. Quite simply Katie’s Ski Tracks changes young lives.
Because of their conditions these youngsters are so often excluded from school and family holidays and for some, unfortunately, it will be the first and last holiday they may ever take.
Huge thanks to everyone involved…
We couldn't have raised the money without all your help so thank you very much and I am sure you will agree, the money is going to a fantastic cause. Visit their website for more information.
