We're thrilled to announce we are partnering with the fabulous Chemmy Alcott to offer our guests the chance to ski, yoga, dine and party with her in Arc 1950 this April.
Chemmy Alcott is one of the UK's most successful downhill ski racers, having competed in four Winter Olympics and been British Champion over seven times. Since retiring from international competition in 2014, she has been a regular in the world of snow broadcasting, now entering her fifth year as co-lead presenter on BBC’s Ski Sunday - the highlight next season being the World Ski Championships in Saalbach in February 2025. Alongside her husband Dougie, she now runs CDC performance coaching, offering high-level coaching camps around the world for athletes of all levels.
Arc 1950 is a gem of a ski resort, offering the perfect blend of convenience, charm and luxury. Nestled in the heart of the Paradiski area, it provides access to an expansive network of slopes for all abilities. Its picturesque, pedestrian-friendly village is packed with stylish chalets, cosy après-ski spots and restaurants. With ski-in, ski-out access and breathtaking alpine views, Arc 1950 truly delivers a memorable mountain experience.
Located right next to the piste, our award-winning ski hotel, Bear Lodge, is a firm favourite with our guests, for good reason. With a stylish bar and restaurant, in-house ski hire service, indoor swimming pool and wellness area with stunning mountain views and a cinema room, there is plenty to keep everyone occupied after a day exploring the impressive ski area. The pedestrianised village of Arc 1950 is full of charm and boasts a wide selection of bars, cafés and restaurants.
The Chemmy Alcott ski week will take place on 13 April 2025.
