If you are planning a family ski holiday and exploring childcare options, you have certainly landed in the right place. As keen skiers with little ones ourselves, we fully understand that happy children make for happy parents and that quality childcare is an essential ingredient to every family holiday. Our ski nanny selection process

We have gone to great lengths to ensure that you will feel absolutely confident in our ski nannies’ ability to care for your children. We have personally interviewed every candidate and probed references to our complete satisfaction. We select a very few from the hundreds that apply every year. We only take on nannies with NNEB or equivalent qualifications, or experienced teachers who pass our own rigorous screening and DBS checks.

It's so much more than just being qualified

Our ski nannies are chosen for their experience, maturity, confidence and enthusiasm. The average age of our nannies last season was 24. During their training course at the start of the season, as well as updating Health and Safety qualifications, our ski nannies go through paediatric first aid, fire safety and food hygiene, as well as sessions in practical cooking, basic French, indoor and outdoor play and even learn how to sledge safely (… really!) Our childcare facilities operate to outstanding standards, policies and procedures.

We have a range of flexible childcare services

We offer three sorts of childcare to suit your needs based on your child's age and location of your ski holiday:

Private Nannies in any chalet you choose across all of our resorts
Bear Cubs in Bear Lodge, Arc 1950 and Altitude Lodge, Les Gets
Polar Bears for slightly older children in Arc 1950.

We also offer babysitting in all our chalets should you wish to eat out on a chalet host evening off.

We only have a limited number of ski nannies … please book early

Our childcare services are subsidised and only available to our own guests in combination with a full price accommodation booking. We have a limited number of nannies who are usually sold out a week or so before each departure date, sometimes six months before during school holidays. When this is the case, we will try our very best to source a nanny from a reliable agency and pass this service on to you at cost. Please bear in mind that that external childcare is considerably more expensive than our own in-house nannies.
