All the gear and no idea? Or a seasoned pro with only the best tech? What you choose to wear on the slopes can say a lot about your ski style.

With early predictions suggesting sunshine yellow is the rumoured colour of the season, houndstooth print making a resurgence and classic 90s fits taking the slope by storm – will you embrace or shun the fashion trends of winter 2024/2025 season?

We’ve created the ultimate quiz to sort the Instagram posers from the pros. Take the quiz and find out your ski slopes fashion personality.

Top Ski Fashion Trends for Winter 2024/2025

Are you fashion-ready for your ski holiday in winter 2024/2025, and have your ski persona established and in check? Here are our top tips for ski-fashion trends to help style your look.

We spoke to fashion expert and stylist, Oriona Robb, about this year’s expected trends. She promised the future is bright – and metallic.

The 90s Vintage Revival

Leading this winter’s fashion trends is a nostalgic nod to the 90s, with retro-inspired ski wear lighting up the slopes. Bold puffer jackets with oversized collars, flared pants, and classic 90s patterns like houndstooth are making a stylish comeback. The throwback trend that took over the high street this summer is here to stay through winter, bringing playful colour and pattern to cold-weather gear.

Eco-Friendly Fabrics for a Greener Future

Ski fashion is increasingly turning to eco-conscious materials, using recycled and plant-based fabrics to minimise environmental impact. With more skiers mindful of their carbon footprint, demand is surging for sustainable yet stylish ski wear that doesn’t compromise on design.

Bold, Bright, and Unmissable

This season is all about vibrant, head-to-toe colour – think electric blues, bright yellows, and vivid oranges. These monochromatic looks are not only eye-catching but also enhance visibility on the snow, making them a bold yet functional choice for the slopes.

Futuristic Flair

For those who prefer to look forward rather than back, futuristic ski styles are taking centre stage. Expect to see plenty of metallic textures paired with deep reds, especially in après-ski wear, adding a sleek, modern touch to winter wardrobes.

Technical Accessories with a Stylish Edge

This may or may not have been influenced by the latest series of Emily in Paris, but this season’s accessories blend fashion and function with high-tech features. Heated gloves, oversized mirrored goggles, and stylish face masks keep skiers warm and comfortable while adding a bold finishing touch.

Oriona Robb said: “This year we are leaning into the future, with sleek metallics and deep reds, offering a modern edge to classic ski wear. With the resurgence of monochromatic looks, we can be sure to see bold head-to-toe colour schemes that are both striking and sophisticated hitting the slopes in 2024.

Winter 2024/5 is all about making a statement. In accessories, we see oversized hats, scarves, goggles to add personality to any outfit. And of course, retro-inspired patterns, think bold stripes, vintage-inspired colour blocking, and a nod to the classics.”

Whatever your style, we look forward to welcoming you on the slopes this winter.
