Back in 2014, we put together our ultimate ski playlist, filled with tracks that instantly transported us to the mountains – whether it was a favourite ski run, a sunset hot tub session, or dancing on the tables at après. A decade later, it’s time for an update.
Music has a way of capturing memories, and no ski holiday is complete without the perfect soundtrack. So, we’ve asked the VIP SKI team in the UK office for their all-time favourite ski songs, old and new, to create the ultimate ski playlist for 2025.
Turn up the volume, hit the slopes, and let the music take you there.
Me and my best pal used to run a chalet together and on change over day we would open all the windows and blare this song out first to get us in the cleaning mood haha (im sure not appreciated by the neighbours) so always reminds me of the mountains! Millie, Alpine Account Manager
One of my best friends and I listening to this on a bluebird day, starting the song at the top of a mountain looking out over the views ready to cruise down a lovely blue in the sun, en route to get a few drinks! I can’t help but smile listening to this, it transports me straight back to the mountains! Maxine, Alpine Account Manager
It was hard to narrow it down to just one song, but this was the “song of the season” on my first winter in Val d’Isère. Every time I hear it now, I think of bluebird days, spring laps with mates and après in the sun! Cam, Alpine Account Manager
For us, last year Beyoncé's 'Texas Hold Em' was the song of Arc 1950. It always seemed to be on the shuffle when we were in the chalet!
About 10 years ago, I was in Morzine with a group of friends and we were at the top of the Nyon peak. The chairlifts were winding down, it had been a bluebird and the sun was going down. We cruised all the way back into the bottom of the Pleney after a great day on the slopes and I had Ben Howard’s 'Every Kingdom' album playing. A very positive song for a very positive day. It was one of my fave skis I’ve done, just super chill and cruisy. Jess, Alpine Account Manager
This always makes me think about my first ski trip in December as I was listening to it on our way up to the mountains. We were winding up the roads, surrounded by these insane views, and I was so excited to finally ski on real snow and have my first proper skiing experience. The song fit the moment perfectly, and now I can’t hear it without thinking about that lovely trip! Megan, Salesforce & Marketing Administrator
This takes me back to my first family ski holiday as a teenager in La Plagne (many moons ago), where I listened to this album on my Sony Walkman on repeat, vowing to do a ski season as soon as I’d finished school. One ski season became 15, as is often the way, and I ended up marrying a ski instructor! Kate, Copywriter & Content Creator
If these tunes have reignited memories of your last ski trip, then it might be time to start planning your next mountain adventure and create new memories with us in Val d'Isère, La Plagne, Les Arcs or Avoriaz.
