Chalet Beluga

Our group consisted of two families, with 3 x "parents" and 5 "twenty something lads" & one lass. Beluga was the perfect location for our third successive visit to Avoriaz. We were hosted by Matt and Robyn (aided by Rosa on host days off) who did an amazing job to make us feel welcome during our stay. We all got on so well together and even went skiing / boarding with the hosts on their days off. The food was great and two of our party are Vegan so their needs were catered for, despite availability of certain ingredients. I think that perhaps if the hosts had been given more notice from HQ that we had two vegans in the party, it would have made it easier for them - my advice would be to labour this point a few weeks prior to departure with HQ if you have special dietary requirements as the hosts place their food orders over a week in advance from the SuperU down in the valley. On the hosts night off we had fab takeaway pizzas from La Boule de Neige in the centre of the village - about 10 mins walk away. Resort manager Sam is a superstar - he really has got a handle on everything going on and was quick to sort a few minor maintenance issues during our stay, getting stuck in himself where necessary. What a fab chap - never flustered and always chilled but in control. Beluga is in an absolutely superb location, being piste side with the most amazing views down towards Morzine. It's only 100m up the hill from a range of bars and restaurants (at the top of the Prodains) as well as a really helpful Ski Hire shop called Avoriaz Sports. All so convenient! Beluga has a great layout with a comfortable lounge / dining area and the pool & steam room were well used and much appreciated after a good days skiing. The bedrooms are a good size and soooo comfortable! Balconies overlooking the valley from all of the bedrooms meant that you could lie in bed with your morning cuppa (brought to the door by Matt & Robyn) with the most amazing view!! I would like to keep Beluga as a secret but its only fair to say that we had the most amazing time and have already booked to go back to Beluga in Jan 2024. Thank you VIP

We were greeted very warmly by VIP staff at the airport who managed the transfer most efficiently.On arrival at the chalet our cases were brought to our room and we could not have had for a more welcoming introduction ..... Including champagne and canapes. Throughout the week we could not have wished for more from the friendly, helpful and professional chalet staff ... Dan, Broady and 'Cinderella' Karly. The meals were always very well cooked and presented. The chalet was in a superb position with probably the finest views in Avioraz .... absolutely ski in and ski out ..... within about ten paces of the front door!!!! Ski rental less than five minutes walk down hill which offered very good friendly service. The chalet itself is spacious and light. Our room was a good size, large windows and a most comfortable bed. Could not fault it. The pool and steam room were a real bonus. With appreciation ....... Joyce and Robert. Once again I would like to thank all the VIP staff for helping make our holiday so special.

Brilliant service all round. Chalet was clean and very well located. The team looking after us were brilliant, very accomadating!

Amazing time! Food was perfect, better than a restaurant. Chalet hosts are lovely & sweet people & couldn't have asked for a better experience!

First and for most the entire expiriance was spectacular , the baluga chalet was perfect the location and view were amazing and the facilities were of highest quality but what made this expiriance so great was the suprim stuff brodie, Daniel and Carlie were more then amazing they were above and Beyond our expectation very helpful kind afficiant great cooks and lovely in general .they made this vacation one to remember and for sure repeat .

The chalet was stunning and hosts were superb. Dan, Brodie and Carly couldn't do enough for us. Lovely hosts. We've had a dream Christmas week. Thank you very much.

We have travelled with VIP before but never to Beluga. The hosts- Brodie, Dan and Carli made the chalet work so well, were friendly and helped the holiday run smoothly. Nothing was too much trouble and their food was really impressive. We stayed for Christmas week and the Christmas dinner was fabulous. The chalet is a 30 second ski from the ski school meeting points and ski lifts. Would highly recommend the chalet- would love to return. Thank you guys!!

Can't rate the whole experience highly enough! The guys were amazing from start to finish and nothing was too much trouble. It was a pleasure to share our family Christmas with them. The food was the best I've ever experienced in a chalet and if this experience is anything to go by then I'll definitely look to use VIP Ski again. Thanks a lot guys!

What an amazing family ski holiday. The most incredible week with top class hosts who have catered for a family from 7 to 52! Nothing has been too much trouble for our hosts Brodie, Dan and Carli. Thank you so much for an unforgettable holiday VIP Ski.

Nothing has been too much trouble for Dan, Brodie and Carly, they have looked after us so well and the food has been 5 star! Kids have enjoyed every meal provided and offered a range of delicious homemade yumminess. The Christmas meal was absolutely delicious (as was every meal each evening). I highly recommend this Chalet and hope you are lucky enough to get our amazing chalet hosts. Thank you guys and VIP ski for making our family Christmas holiday truly memorable. We will definitely be back!

What an impressive chalet, right next to one of the main ski school meeting points. The facilities in this chalet are superb and very well maintained. We have been extremely well looked after by Brodie, Dan and Carly. The food and service has been excellent throughout the week. Very impressed with everything from start to finish. Fantastic week, great resort, great chalet, great hosts, great food!

Isla and Ross made us feel very welcome and at home. The childcare provided by Beth was fantastic with activities planned for the children every day. We loved our Chalet Beluga experience.

We are beyond grateful to you both. You truly made our stay. Freyah and Taylor are EXCEPTIONAL. Of all the years we have stayed in catered chalets, we have never received the quality of service we have whilst staying with you. The chalet is beautifully presented and remained immaculate throughout our time. This is by far the best accommodation & hosts we have had. From our intial greet to departure- this duo have not stopped smiling- they have given 110% remained consistently upbeat and on form. They use their initiative and assist and help long before any requests. Freyah has such a warm and friendly manner- she is consistently jolly and enthusiastic. Taylor has a wicked sense of humor and is incredibly helpful- he provided much entertainment and laughter during our time. They are both so personable; taking the time to get to know us all- particularly our 3 children, their likes and dislikes and making mealtimes fun (smiley food faces/ make your own pizza night)- which our children absolutely LOVED! (Thank you). Our daughter unfortunately became very poorly during our stay. Throughout they kept her spirits lifted, they took care of the intricacies e.g. booking appointments for us and taking additional time out to ensure we were all okay. Our plans here and subsequently our return travel plans were altered as a result and we urgently needed to orchestrate a new plan to get us home, whilst taking care of our poorly little one and our other 2. This was only made possible by the assistance of these two- they truly excelled at this point! ....from making arrangements, to the little gestures e.g. ice cream and jelly to raise a little smile on her face, to leaving us a little note in our room offering up some encouraging words. It meant the world- and it turned a difficult situation on its head. I am beyond grateful for your positivity during this week and your incredibly warm-hearted ways. You are so genuine, caring and sincere and it shines beyond your role as hosts here. We will miss you. Every single one of us have nothing but high praise for you both.

A fantastic holiday experience from start to finish, for our family of 10 adults + 2 infants (aged 3 and under). Excellent communications in the lead up to our arrival, assistance in arranging Transfers from Geneva, ensuring high chairs, cots, child barriers (for stairs), and supplies of nappies were all arranged and ready for our arrival. Transfer on our arrival to our chalet by 3 x horse and carriage was delightful, a real treat for the children. Our hosts (Freyah and Taylor), and Wil (the Resort Director) could not have been more welcoming, friendly and helpful. Nothing was too much trouble, from assistance with arranging ski hire, through to gourmet meals and pre-dinner drinks and canapés). The quality and range of skiing experiences in Avoriaz resort and the wider Porte de Soliele area is amongst the best in the world, and we certainly look forward to returning. Thanks to all for a truly memorable holiday.

We loved every minute of our stay in Chalet Beluga. Our chalet hosts Freyah and Taylor were fantastic. Very attentive, always checking in with us to make sure we were fed and watered :-) Dinners were delicious and an absolute highlight. Location of the chalet was great - right on a run so we could zip straight down to the lifts.

Always helpful and smiley our chalet hosts made the holiday extra special. They added a quiz night which had us all laughing . The children made pizza one night which was a huge hit. They helped us feel relaxed on our holiday which is key. The chalet itself was new and shiny as you would hope from the brochure and the pool and hammam area worked well. Our hosts are definitely to be highly highly recommended though and helped us all to have a fantastic holiday.

We had a very special holiday at Chalet Beluga. One of the best. The hosts, Taylor and Freyah, were absolutely fantastic: The food they prepared for us and our children was truly delicious, varied and expertly cooked; the chalet was pristine (despite 12 of us rampaging through it every day!) and their relaxed, friendly aura helped to create the special Christmas holiday atmosphere that we all craved. The chalet itself is beautifully designed with views that are hard to beat. Thank you Chalet Beluga!
