Chalet Sakami

We have had a lovely week. Our experience was very easy, despite travelling with two small children. The transfer from the airport was seamless and chalet Sakami was clean, comfortable and welcoming. The VIP staff were friendly, attentive and easy going. They made everything easy for us, were great with the children and made all of our time here very relaxed. The children got involved in pizza making and were delighted to find that the Easter Bunny had left chocolate treats in their room! The food was excellent and plentiful and we were impressed with the wine list. Thank you for having us!

Fabulous birthday week and skiing holiday . Shout out to our chalet hosts James & Max who looked after us really well with amazing breakfast, tea and dinner which was perfectly prepared ,cooked & served.

Another great ski holiday with VIP ski who really provide that VIP holiday experience. James our chalet host was excellent and we all enjoyed the varied meals! Chalet Sakami is a lovely property and the hot tub a welcome break from skiing. It is feasible to ski out with a very short walk but the return is a little further and uphill as the public lift in the property next door was out of action. Overall a great holiday and thanks to the VIP ski team for making every effort.

We have we have just returned from amazing week in Avoriaz thanks to VIP SKI When we arrived at Geneva airport our skis were lost by the airport. Once we were met by the VIP team we were swiftly reunited with the skis and on our way up the hill and introduced to our Chalet team. Our Chalet was perfect and James our host was fantastic. The food was great all week. Half way through the week one us had an accident, being airlifted off and spending a night in hospital. Again the support could not have been better. We were returned back to the airport feeling like VIPs THANK YOU to the VIP team see you next year

The chalet, chalet hosts and all the VIP staff could not have looked after us any better! They were amazing. Breakfast, tea and dinner were prepared, cooked and served to the highest standard. Holly and Max were wonderful, making all the family, from the 6 year old to the 64 year old feel relaxed and thoroughly spoilt. Thank you VIPski

Fantastic week in 5* chalet Sakami. Great accommodation, varied & plentiful meals, & no small request too small for our wonderful chalet host James. Hot tub a brilliant addition for ski-weary legs. Very highly recommended.

Great location chalet. Ski in and ski out possible with a bit of determination. Excellent service from James. Such a comfortable chalet with everything required for a totally relaxing experience. We've had a great ski trip. Breakfast was always prompt enough to fit our timescales. Good quality and tasty food. Host was friendly but not invasive. Perfect. Thank you VIP

We went to Avoriaz to celebrate our son's 21st and we're not sure there are actually enough words to describe how wonderful our break was. All the VIP staff that we came in to contact with were great. Our Chalet Hosts James and Lottie were amazing, cooking delicious food and making us feel comfortable and at home. The resort, the skiing, were just fabulous. We would definitely love to go back and would definitely recommend it to anyone that is thinking about going themselves. The birthday boy even had a surprise cake on the morning we were leaving!

VIP ski were recommended to us by friends and they did not disappoint. The chalet was fabulous and the new hot tub was a lovely luxury after a day on the slopes. Definitely helped ease sore muscles! All members of staff we had contact with were fantastic and nothing was too much trouble. We had one child ill whilst there and another had an accident and they were brilliant at assisting us. Special mention must go to our chalet hosts James and Lottie who were amazing. Both worked really hard and had perfect personalities for the job. James was our full time host and he really was exceptional. Cooking standard was top notch (his Guinness cake has gone down in the family history books) and he really did go above and beyond. A real asset to your company. Henry was also brilliant, the font of all knowledge and if he didn't know he would find out. Helped return skis when our daughter injured herself etc. All in all, despite the injuries and sickness we had a great time and definitely hope to travel with VIP Ski in the future.

We couldn’t have had a better experience in Avoriaz. From Amelia, our first point of contact to James and Lottie our hosts, we thankyou for making our week so wonderful. We’ll definately be back.

James our host prepared the most amazing meals and bought us all tea in the morning. He was chatty, interested in us and had great knowledge on the resort. Nothing was too much trouble! Had some great tunes too! Breakfast was superb and the afternoon cake always freshly made and delicious. 3 course evening meals also wonderful

We had a fantastic week at Sakami, the chalet was lovely, perfectly set up and ideally located to access the slopes and the village. All the staff were great, from the communication with the office before we left through to the airport greet and Sam when we arrived in Avoriaz. Sam and Henry accommodated all our requests from restaurant and bowling bookings to babysitting, and were really helpful and friendly throughout. But the real star of our holiday had to be Amelia, ably supported by the always-smiling Charlton. She was the perfect chalet host, so warm and friendly, and a great cook. The children adored her and she was so kind to let them help out in the kitchen. Meg also made the holiday such a success as our resort nanny. The children had great fun with all the varied outdoor and indoor activities she provided. Her flexibility on daily hours made organising around lessons and meals a dream. We really can’t thank all the staff we met enough for making this such a wonderful holiday.

Fantastic holiday in Avoriaz…didn’t want to leave and can’t wait to go back! We were looked after superbly by the Amazing Amelia (and Henry and the wider VIP team) from start to finish! We were served unbelievably good food (and SO much of it). Amelia went above and beyond to create a special birthday for my daughter complete with the cake of her choice and balloons! Fab chalet in the heart of Avoriaz with a view you could never tire of. All the ingredients for a family holiday creating memories we will never forget!

Having skied before, we tried a 'catered' chalet this time, for the first time - Marvellous. Our chalet 'host, Amelia', was brilliant. Accommodating, friendly and really good at preparing all our meals, including traditional Christmas fare. Also, first time we have used VIP SKI - their attention to detail, lived up to their name. The local team were very attentive and knowledgeable. All parts of our experience, worked well, including the transfers. We would definitely recommend them.

Prior to the holiday we were asked whether we would like to pre-book: skis, boards, passes, lessons, meals out and anything else. All items were organised perfectly, meaning we had little to arrange ourselves. Transfer to the Chalet was smooth and we were met by VIP staff and Ellie, as the person who would prepare and serve all the meals and look after the Chalet. Ellie was a superb and natural host with all meals of a very high quality indeed. Nothing was too much trouble. I could mention every VIP Manager and staff member as they were all friendly, helpful and professional. During the holiday we occasionally asked for lunches etc. to be booked and they were able to offer full advice and make the desired reservations for us. The Chalet itself is in a great position and right next to access for the slopes/skiing plus the shopping and entertainment areas of the village. The Chalet windows and balconies have full views over the mountains and at the end of the day ... the setting sun. We found everything very comfortable and the space just right for our 3 couples on the holiday. Each bedroom having its own en-suite; with common kitchen, dining and lounge areas with comfortable settees. We were lucky to have sunshine and fine snow for our week's skiing and I'm sure other reviews can give information about the many and varied pistes with neighbouring resorts and Switzerland. We would definitely go again!

Holiday was fantastic- Grace was such a brilliant host, so friendly, helpful and an amazing cook. Loved the week with her hosting. Such a treat and thoroughly well looked after!

From start to finish, we cannot recommend highly enough our trip to Avoriaz with VIP ski. Every one went above and beyond to help us have an amazing time. Chalet Sakami is a gorgeous place and was perfect for our family of four. Grace looked after us so well - the food and hospitality was truly amazing!! Thanks for a fantastic long weekend and we hope to book again soon!

We were welcomed to our chalet by Emma a lovely girl with a desire to make our holiday as good as it could be. The chalet was lovely with all we could have needed. The chalet was somewhat smaller than last year, and in most ways ways was comparable, negatives were comments that the beds were too hard. Food was 4 out of 5, Emma certainly delivered more than was expected. We will consider again.

We have been very welcomed by Sam and Eamon. Eamon, our chalet host has been incredibly helpful and accommodating. Our food has been fantastic and Eamon has looked after us exceptionally well, such a friendly and helpful host, we couldn't have hoped for a better one to be honest!

I had a wonderful holiday in Chalet Sakami, thanks to Eamonn and Carlie's superb cooking and great company. I was on holiday by myself, which I've never done before, and they both made me feel very comfortable and were really helpful in giving me advice and tips. The chalet itself was impeccably clean and with all mod cons, not quite sure how I'll adjust back at home! I loved Avoriaz too, the easy access to the lifts and clear directions on the slopes made it a joyful skiing experience. A five-star holiday, no doubt.

Had a fabulous week at this new chalet. Very good food, hosts Eamon and Will were superb, nothing too much trouble.

A lovely chalet with even lovelier hosts. We had a great time and Eamonn's cooking was restaurant quality. A few tweaks to the (new) chalet would improve things as would a slightly better choice of wine but that's to take nothing away from our hosts.

Very good attention from all the friendly staff. Comfortable chalet with decent access to slopes.Lounge a bit chilly and bedroom a difficult shape to fit in chair for clothes or to sit rather than on the bed. Eamon's cooking was amazing and the menus were very appetising and varied.

We hadn't travelled with VIP for a few years now and decided to come again as we could book just part of a chalet and for a shorter break - something we didn't know we could on a last minute basis. Our chalet in Avoriaz was new and had good specs - although I felt the bedrooms were tight. Food was better than on previous trips (something I appreciate). Our host Eamon was excellent - and made the trip quite special. Also a great thanks to Sam in the resort team who sorted all our passes, skis and restaurant bookings.

Loved every minute. VIP super organized and very detailed oriented. No demand too big. From arrival to departure we felt well taken care off. Lovely chalet host Eamon. Bonus, he's an excellent chef and easily able to adapt to diet preferences. Thank you for a great experience. I'll be back.
