Colibri Penthouse

Its our families 2nd time to Colibri penthouse so we knew the layout and format before arriving. Transfers were better this time and there were plenty of staff to help with luggage and settling us in. Chalet staff were good, Ollie,Hazel and Adam. Ollie made a fantastic Victoria sponge for my wife's birthday and great cakes throughout the week. Meals were good albeit the chalet staff had no idea of my request for the daily menu which was emailed well in advance. Looks like a lack on communication to the chalet staff but Ollie and Hazel were not fazed as this came up in conversation after our second evening and they accommodated our choice. Champagne was there as requested for the second evening. Overall I got the impression staff ie G and chalet staff were a bit sketchy on our requirements either a lack of communication form office to site or staff not reading the notes. Came across a bit amateurish! We love the location and I don't think it can be beaten in Morzine hence our second time. A few negatives from the group that could improve things. No beers in the fridge first night Bath towels to small for most. General cleaning could improve ie we had canapés a few nights in the front room area and naturally a few crumbs etc were on the carpet and this wasn't hoovered up during the week. ( my wife is a made cleaner) she's also mentioned table and kitchen surfaces could have been cleaned better. Fridge could also do with sorting out and a good clean. Overall we had a good week and a special mention to Ollie, well done. Maybe next time we will look in Avoriax at one of your properties which was mentioned to me by one of your staff who's name escapes me. Overall I was satisfied but a few things could be better.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay with VIP at the Colibri Penthouse. The chalet is spacious and comfortable. The hot tub got a lot of use, too! Our chalet hosts Zach, Holly and Hazel were all very warm, welcoming and professional. They were great cooks, and every breakfast, afternoon tea and dinner we had was delicious. We would definitely recommend VIP and the chalet to friends and family.

We spent amazing holidays in Morzine with VIPSki and will be happy to come again in some other location next year.

What an amazing week we have had. We had been on holiday with VIP Ski before COVID and thought it was amazing then but now they have just jumped up another level. The chalet was just excellent and the chalet hosts (Sean, Shannon and Holly) were brilliant. They were great at running the show but also were so helpful when organising things. I cannot fault this week and am sad to leave. Special mention to Martha who was our nanny. She was amazing and a firm favourite with our 6 year old. She was very flexible with the plans for adult skiing as well as skiing with the children. Again I was so impressed with the childcare. This really was a brilliant week!

We had a great time staying in Colibri penthouse. The location is so central and close to the lifts - it was so convenient to be able to go back and forth to the chalet throughout the day especially with two small kids. It was great to have our ski passes ready for us on arrival and have the ski rental shop so close to us. The chalet was really spacious and the rooms were always clean. G was also really responsive and always got back to us really quickly about any questions we had. But the standout for us was the amazing service from Zach, Tilly and Hazel. They were so patient, kind and wonderful with the two little ones. They went the extra mile to include them in what they were doing -making pizzas, letting them watch them make fires - the girls had the best time hanging out with them. We also enjoyed all our meals they created and they did a great job making sure our wine glasses were always topped up! Thank you again for a wonderful week.

This is my second visit to Morzine with the family. Morzine is a great ski resort and staying at VIP ski property Colibri Penthouse is really convenient. It is located in the town Center close to all restaurants, shops, cafes, super markets; ski hire is just down stairs next to the penthouse. More important our grand daughter goes to ESF ski school and it s just a short walk up the road. The penthouse is great for family, with catering (breakfast and dinner) included. Our hosts Sack and Tilly from UK are fantastic. They went out of their way to make us real comfortable. The ski resort manager is also very friendly, brought us free ride tickets for the only Merry Go Round in town for my 2 grand daughters. We had a great time.

A stunning chalet, perfect for our extended family get together. Great location close to Pleney lift. Hosted brilliantly by Zach and Megan who looked after us and our children perfectly. We've eaten like kings all week!! We'd highly recommend a stay here and are already talking about booking again next year!

We had the best holiday under VIP ski. They sussed our vibe out and worked around us without interfering too much and leaving us to be. No dietary requirement was too much and we were always well fed. There was good conversation and overall we had a great holiday that was entirely down to both chalet hosts. From the moment we arrived at the penthouse we were made to feel incredibly welcome and immensely relaxed. Our penthouse was the epitome of luxury and comfort. However it was our hosts which raised the standard of our experience to another level. Guillaume was an absolute fountain of knowledge with no detail overlooked and no query left unanswered. Shannen, Meg and Tilly in particular were just incredible. Their culinary skills were outstanding, they were so personable and approachable and they developed a wonderful rapport with our kids. We have honestly made memories to last a lifetime on this holiday and that is down to the care and attention if the VIP Ski team. Thank you all so much.

Well what a fantastic penthouse apartment hosted by VIP SKI. Ollie and Meg who cooked all our 5star meals and breakfast. They are above and beyond the best to look after us all totally Ollie another member who went out of his way to make our stay super. The rest of the chalet hosts were brilliant as well and the manager we called mr G. Was very nice and attentive and very professional. You could not ask for a better set up than this. The chalet was incredible and so central to the town and close to the slopes, Meg and Ollie were so friendly and went out of their way to speak to my Nan and grandad who were stuck in the chalet all day even if it meant they had to stay late. The food was also better than eating out at a restaurant, couldn’t have been a more perfect holiday!!

Couldn’t have been better looked after by our hosts and all the staff at VIP Ski! The chalet was lovely and spacious. Right beside the lifts and the shops and restaurants.

Fresh snow on the day we arrived meant brilliant skiing conditions for our holiday. Vip ski were fantastic, transfers were easy and simple, very stress free. Ollie and Meg have been absolutely brilliant, and couldn't do enough to make our stay as relaxing as possible.

Our hosts Meg and Ollie couldn’t do enough for us. They were so friendly and helpful. We received a really warm welcome and it continued throughout the holiday and with every VIP ski team member we met. The accommodation is perfect; excellent location in the town with easy access to all ski areas. The food was superb. Our best Christmas yet and our best ski holiday ever.

Lovely duplex penthouse - well laid out and with a quality fit out. Great location. Superb and attentive service - especially the early morning coffee to your bedroom door ! Great food and wine. Would certainly go back again.

An outstanding chalet a stone’s throw from the main resort gondola. Exceptional hosts in Yasmine and Owen. Excellent food and yummy afternoon cakes. In the spirit of helping you with continuous improvement the bath towels need to be much bigger!

An easy 5 star review! This was our first ski trip with a baby, VIP ski delivered on everything promised plus more. As a result we had a wonderful week. The chalet was modern, clean and spacious. The chalet hosts Yas, Owen and Eva were fantastic! Friendly, professional and looked after our every needs. Wouldn’t hesitate to recommend VIP ski to friends and look forward to using them again next year!

Beautiful chalet, fabulous views, wonderful hosts. The food was amazing every day. So accommodating for gluten free and vegetarian people. Very comfortable and relaxed atmosphere, helpful advice for non skiers too. We had a great time and the hosts were very chatty and friendly and full of useful local knowledge of places to go and things to do. Definitely will be back!

We thought the chalet was comfortable with everything we needed. Our chalet hosts were friendly professional and hard working . The only criticism is the side alley entrance has an open cellar which is very dangerous for toddlers.

Our family of four (2 adults 2 children aged 7 and 10) have greatly enjoyed our stay in your Chalet. The chalet itself is clean and well presented and perfectly positioned just a couple of minutes walk from the main ski lift in the heart of the town. Our chalet staff have looked after us beautifully. Always friendly, helpful and efficient. The food for both the children and adults was enjoyed by all. Watching the light procession and fireworks display from our balcony was an unexpected highlight!

After a wonderful time on the slopes to be able to return to an excellent chalet and superb hosts; Owen and Yas. The cooking was topnotch with the children’s meals a particular highlight. During our stay it was Lily’s 11th birthday and they team made it super special. Naomi doesn’t ski so G, the resort manager, helped book Pilates and other activities. Top marks all round. Thank you for a fab holiday.

This was our 4th with VIP ski and was once again exceptional. The chalet was perfect and as this was our second time in Colibri penthouse we were extremely impressed once again. It is clean, spacious, modern, luxurious and the location is amazing. However, the real strength of VIPSki are the staff. Guillame is an extremely organised and helpful resort manager who was always immediately available and checking to make sure our holiday was going to plan; nothing is too much trouble for him. We never met Charlie the deputy resort manager, but were informed by our chalet hosts that he was silently working hard behind the scenes and making sure we had everything we needed, and a few extras which made our holiday even more special. We felt extremely fortunate to have Yasmin and Owen as our chalet hosts. They were probably the best chalet hosts we have had in our 4 years at VIPski, and a very high standard had already been set by our previous hosts. Yas is so kind and Owen so helpful, but the two of them run a very well organised chalet and made our holiday experience perfect. The food they cooked was excellent and their attention to detail was extremely impressive. They had both done previous seasons with VIPski and this was apparent in their knowledge and skills. They were such nice people and we thoroughly enjoyed their company throughout the week, and our children will certainly miss them. Eva also joined them to help out on a couple of days and was excellent. We are extremely grateful for the way they looked after us so well this week. We will be rebooking for next year and wouldn't hesitate to recommend VIP ski to our friends.

We (Laidlaw’s, Chan’s and Setchell’s) had the best experience with our ski hosts (Owen and Jas). Whilst the snow wasn’t the greatest…our penthouse was superb, the food and drinks were great and it was no fuss and absolutely stress free! The kids loved Owen and Jas and adults had such a chilled time! Thank you so much. Also thanks to Guillaume for being wonderful and so informative and helpful as well! Highly recommend this chalet! Amazing and we’ll all be back!!!

Good week skiing , snow improved as the sun disappeared. So best of both at different times. Although apartment was very well appointed, it was a little noisy at night. It is on the main street but a gentle warning may have been good. Being a little older ! Still a very good holiday Holly and Kirsty looked after us well. G the manager was good too.

The weather was mixed but plenty of skiing for late March. Our hosts Holly and Kirsty were fabulous, friendly and informative. Lovely food all week. Thank you.

The chalet is just stunning, location is perfect and the girls were totally amazing. Nothing was too much trouble; courteous, fun and very professional young ladies. They are a credit to the company. The rooms were modern and comfortable and great showers. The hot tub was ideal for the aching limbs! Brilliant stay.

An absolute dream of a penthouse only to be made better by our hosts Holly and Kirsty. I’ve never felt more welcomed in my life, dream of a holiday.

We spent a week at the penthouse and it’s been nothing short of perfect! Beautiful chalet and perfect location. Our trip was made even better thanks to Kirsty, Holly and Alice our chalet hosts. They are such lovely girls and we enjoyed our time with them. They really looked after us and the food was spot on! Thank you!!

Our party of 8 arrive and we were welcomed outside by our chalet hosts. The Penthouse is fantastic , open plan kitchen dinner with 4 good sized bedrooms. The location is directly next to Pleney lift, so no long walks after a long days skiing . Our chalet hosts for the week Kirsty, Holly and Alice were fantastic and really made our stay that little bit extra special. Great food and wine and we wanted for nothing. Two of our party had birthdays and the girls went the extra mile with balloons and candles. All the meals were really nice and well presented. We would recommend the poached eggs for breakfast ! Thanks again girls. I would recommend VIP Ski as they deliver the whole experience.

A great week in a lovely chalet. The weather was super Six days of perfect sunshine, Our hosts Kirsty and Holly were excellent backed up very well by Alice. They were all very helpful with any queries we had. They were all very attentive and cooked some lovely meals. The simple touches around the place and the lovely touches of a note at afternoon tea were very nice. Altogether a great week

Had the most luxury week staying in the Penthouse! With a huge open plan kitchen lounge and dining area it was great for a large group. The hot tub was a real treat warming up after a days skiing. Being only 2 minute walk from the Pleney Lift and 5 minute walk to Super Morzine the location of the chalet is perfect. Our hosts, Kirsty, Holly and Alice were all fantastic! They were so friendly and welcoming from the start and nothing was too much trouble. The food was incredible all week (especially all the vegetarian options!). We really couldn’t have asked for lovelier hosts!

Great chalet and really friendly, sociable and efficient hostesses - thank you. Chalet is 50 m from the main lift out of Morzine - similar distance for the bus to Avoriaz. The chalet itself is perhaps the nicest I’ve stopped in - good size bedrooms, very big lounge/dining area and a fantastic hot-tub with a view of the mountains.

Great location for Pleney lift. Great views! Great hot tub! Spacious and luxury accommodation. A table football table! Chalet hosts were extremely helpful and very helpful. Made it a very relaxed holiday!

We’ve just got back from a wonderful week in Morzine. The chalet was beautiful, and our hosts (Holly and Kirsty) were absolutely fantastic. Shoutout to the other VIP staff that we encountered too (Rory, Alice and G) - everyone was lovely, and nothing was too much trouble. We’ll be back!

We were looked after Kirsty, Rory and Hollie for our week with VIP ski. Wonderful hosts, fantastic food. Nothing was too much trouble. Great company to have in the chalet. We really missed them on their day off. They were brilliant with our children who loved telling them stories about their days on the mountain and making pizzas and pancakes. Mr G the resort manager was extremely helpful with arranging non skiing activities for my parents. Thank you VIP ski team. The chalet is also beautiful, clean and modern and very close to the pleney lift for morning ski lessons.

What a wonderful holiday thanks to the VIP staff. Warm welcome on arrival at the chalet by Kirsty, Holly and Rory. We cannot thank Kirsty, Rory and Holly enough. They worked so hard to make our stay so happy. The grandchildren loved them. Holly left us for a few days on leave , but Kirsty and Rory were delightful. Wonderful food and hospitality. Mr G the manager was absolutely wonderful and could not do enough for us organising walking and snowshoeing tours, helping us with directions and time tables, restaurant bookings. VIP what wonderful staff you have, please look after them!

Great week. There were a few teething problems: heating not full on, radiators not working. But overall great service. Holly and Kirsty did a fantastic job. Perfect mix of friendly attention and great service.
