Colibri Uno

We booked out both Colibri’s, Alaska & Manoir for a summer corporate trip and it was a huge success. The coordination from Kristin was second to none, she was always on hand for to help beforehand and during, the activities was great fun, and the food the chalets was delicious! We’ll be back!

Thanks so much to Shannon, Sean, Holly and Ollie for making our week in Morzine so relaxing. Entertaining our children, while preparing and cooking such wonderful food is no easy feat! We really appreciate all you did for us to make our holiday so special and memorable.

The team at VIP ski made this a trip of a lifetime for the group (12 in total). The organisation was seamless and the apartment itself was perfect for a larger group (even with some in bunk beds). Special shoutout to Tilly and Lenny, who were fantastic hosts, as well as being great cooks and always on hand to help.

The chalet offering from VIP was great. Weve used several different chalet companies over the years and VIP ranks right up there. The chalet was well appointed, modern and spacious. Our hosts were very helpful, accommodating and the right level of friendly. Would use VIP again.

Great week. Apartment is of high standard and well maintained. Hot tub was great. Have to say it was very hot in the apartment despite turning the heating down and there was a bit of noise from the town early in the morning which you might expect from its location. Shannon and Shaun were absolutely amazing and totally made our week. Very attentive, caring and friendly, and great food. Would definitely go again. Thanks guys.

We all had a lovely time. Morzine is beautiful and the skiing was great. The VIP Ski team (Adam, Sophie, G and Megan) were amazing and super helpful.

As a sun worshiper, I was slightly worried about my first snow holiday but you have proved me wrong! You can have just as much fun and adventure on the slopes as you can on the beach! From the service, to the food, to the company and both your expertise regarding the local area… it was nothing short of perfection! From the moment we arrived at the airport to our final goodbye our family have had the best holiday. The apartment was fantastic and spacious, very modern and comfortable. Shannon & Sean have been amazing hosts and have dealt with all our ‘challenging’ dietary requirements - or just fussy eaters superbly! Shannon & Sean have become family and we’re going to miss their culinary skills & conversations.

The experience was fantastic right from the moment we were met at the airport and nothing was too much trouble throughout our stay. Our VIP SKI chalet was great but its the team that made our stay amazing! I would definitely recommend VIP SKI!!

Shannon & Sean were absolutely delightful to have as hosts. At times it felt like they weren’t there, doing their best. But what’s most important is that they were there, and they were pleasant, professional and very attentive. They were a joy to have host. Always there to help, there to join in conversation and have a laugh. We all felt very comfortable in their presence, for both tasty food and company reasons.

An excellent experience on my first winter holiday. Great service and knowledge from start to finish by all ski VIP staff. A massive thank you to all who hosted and gave advice but especially Sean and Shannon who made the experience one to remember. They could not do enough for us, always catering for our every needs. Their ability in the kitchen was outstanding but what topped it of was their friendly attitude always give us the time of day, often with silly questions! They were fantastic hosts who really made the chalet perfect.

Our chalet was even better than we expected, and even the finer details felt very luxurious (e.g. soap, nice fluffy robes, unlimited wine) However the main highlight was our lovely hosts, whom we all got so excited to see every morning and evening. Sean & Shannon were so lovely and made the whole stay 100 times better, along with their companions Oli and Holly. They were all so thoughtful, fun and always willing to make the extra mile. Thank you so much for your hospitality and many apologies for all the grilling and family drama ;) hopefully see you very soon in Islington Shannon!

I had an incredible time in the chalet and our extraordinary hosts Shaun and Shannon as they were one of the best hosts you could imagine on holiday.

Great chalet very well equipped. We loved the hot tub and even managed to spend some time in it when we managed to get the children out. Hosts were fantastic. Nothing too much trouble.

Just back from a great week at Colibri Uno in Morzine. Beautiful, modern and clean chalet in amazing location with added luxury of a hot tub on the balcony! Sophie and Eva were fantastic hosts who worked really hard to produce delicious meals for us adults as well as baby-friendly options for the infants. Guillaume, the resort manager, was always on hand with any of our queries/requests and nothing was too much to ask. All-in-all it was a fantastic week and would definitely look to rebook with VIP Ski.

We had a brilliant week away, our hosts Tara, James & Eva were absolutely fantastic and really made the week for us. The food was all fabulous and they were so helpful and went above and beyond - special shout out to Tara for making me non-alcoholic mojitos and to James for sourcing us some cups for games on his night off! We couldn't fault a thing and couldn't have asked for better hosts. The chalet itself was lovely and had everything we needed.

Had a wonderful break in the chalet. The location was great and all rooms were lovely. We had three great hosts, Tara, James and Eva were fantastic, great fun and cooked amazing food all week long. Really made the holiday.

Colibri Uno is a spacious apartment right in the Center of Morzine. Ideally located especially for large families. The service was exceptional. Guillaume was great to deal with and always responsive. Tara, James and Eva made it so easy for us every day. They are attentive, professional and very dedicated. The food was delicious. Truly relaxing week. Thank you so much

Great location great accommodation and first class hosts. Only slight issue is the noise from the nightclub next door

We have had an amazing family holiday. Our chalet hosts Tara and James were very friendly, welcoming and helpful. We have been spoilt with amazing food and lovely wines. After a day of great skiing a very welcomed freshly baked cake and bread were waiting for us. Thank you.

Tara, James and Louisa were extremely well organised and looked after our group very well, we couldn’t have asked for more. The food that we were served was restaurant quality and the was varied which was great. The afternoon tea was very well received after a hard days skiing on the slopes. We look forward to staying with VIP ski again soon.

Arrived on a Sunday to a very warm welcome from the chalet hosts Tara and James. Accommodation is very spacious, light and clean. Facilities have been much appreciated and the meals have been very tasty and well presented. Nothing has been too much trouble, especially as one of the party has been ill since arrival. Look forward to our returning.

Chalet Calibri Uno is perfectly located for an amazing ski trip. Flights to Geneva are short and transfers to Morzine are quick , then the chalet is located moments from ski hire shops, lift pass office & the Pleiney Gondala. The chalet is gorgeous and equipped with everything you need for an amazing week. This was why we returned to it after last year. This time, the service provided for the booking was not as attentive as last year. I never received ski hire prices, despite asking several times. The complimentary inclusive transfers did not fit with our flight times. The chalet hosts were lovely, but new and last year we were spoilt by some very experienced and talented hosts in the chalet. We were left rushing to get some of the guests to the mountain for their ski lessons after breakfast took longer than expected. They were lovely, but just seemed a little under trained & lacked the knowledge about options such as activities etc. In a chalet with a hot tub we shouldn't have to ask for robes and slippers for a VIP trip! We had a great holiday overall. Last year every guest was so impressed with VIP ski. This year, we wondered if we got such great value for money for quite an expensive trip. Again, it was still a wonderful ski trip, but just seemed to be missing the "VIP" this time round.

We stayed at Colibri Uno this year and last year. Last year was fantastic, so good that we booked again. This year was good but not amazing. Several of the VIP elements from last year that made us rebook were missing. We had to ask for robes and slippers and wait for 2 days for them to arrive, definitely required for an outdoor hot tub. The food has been very tasty but we’ve had to wait for it everyday, several times we skipped breakfast as it was too late for us to get to lessons. Evening meals were really tasty but also always very late, we didn’t get dessert until 9.45pm one night. Our chalet hosts were very nice but didn’t go the extra mile that last years hosts did. They were both new hosts and it did show, not their fault perhaps a lack of training. The chalet itself is lovely, perfectly positioned for the lifts and Apres. It was great holiday and we had an amazing time but not really VIP anymore unfortunately.

Not particularly VIP…. Distinctly average Prices have gone up but service has gone down. Hosts were good but not as you’d expect in a VIP chalet, you’d expect some experience and personal touches. Late dinners (finishing just before 10pm) are not excusable.

The team at VIP ski were amazing cooks and great at reccommending where to ski, party and eat. The spa was nice to finish off each day. Great location, very close to both lifts. Private boot room for our suite which was handy. Great time all round!

Very helpful, friendly, and hospitable staff making my stay at the colibre uno a holiday I’ll remember forever! The apartment is also very lavish and comfortable to stay in for the week

Very enjoyable holiday all round

From the minute we arrived we were looked after extremely well. The apartment was as good as we had expected. The staff were fantastic. Friendly, competent and looked after our every need from transfers to a nanny. The food was delicious and produced seamlessly and on time. We could not fault our experience with VIP ski.

We have just come back from the trip of a lifetime in Morzine staying at the Colibri uno chalet. The accommodation was incredible and our amazing hosts Ude and Morgan were absolutely brilliant, nothing was too much trouble for them and they are such a great team! The food was outstanding from start to finish and we were so well looked after. The nannies were amazing too and our little people had the best time ever. Colibri Uno: Very spacious, excellent furnishings with delicious meals and excellent chalet hosts. Morzine: Excellent skiing covering Les Gets and Avoriaz too - ideal for beginners to experienced skiers. Good ski school for children. Morzine is a lively town with good selection of shops, restaurants and cafes.

Thank you Morgan, Ude and Alice for truly fantastic hosting! We had a great time, and couldn’t have wanted for more. Thanks also to G for sorting out a COVID pass for our daughter. Great service all ‘round. Loved it!

We had a great holiday with Ude and Morgan. They were really helpful and friendly, and the food was fantastic!! No one wanted to leave. The chalet was great, very central and beautifully decorated (if a little noisy). All in all a great trip.

Quality and location of the chalet was simply superb. Loved the outdoor hot tub every evening and the hosts Ude, Morgan and Alice were amazing. Absolute luxury, we felt very spoilt indeed!

Fabulous holiday. Ide & Morgan were amazing hosts, aided wonderfully by Alice, and nothing was too much trouble. Food was excellent, chalet so convenient and we all are rolling home rounder, despite the hours of skiing! Thank you VIP for another brilliant holiday!

Well, were to start... In short, we were absolutely blown away by the service and the thoughtfulness of the team at VIP. We arrived on a very last minute booking due to the Covid restrictions and arrived a little shell shocked and exhausted. We were met by the team and they were so very kind, helpful and full of enthusiasm. The chalet was new after it’s refit and they really couldn’t do anything more to help us settle in – we were new, the chalet was new and they were new to the game – but it was such a fantastic welcome. And from there it simply got better. Nothing was too much trouble, they were fantastic hosts from the tea in the morning, to helpful advice, to afternoon tea and a delicious supper. They accommodated our changes to the menu (we didn’t want pud but wanted just cheese instead and they delivered a truly impressive cheese board - fanned apple anyone?), our slightly fussy 16 year old, an truly AMAZING christmas dinner and any other whims we may have had. They did this all whilst the rest of their peers were ‘on holiday’ due to the lack of guests. Even when we asked them to not do our rooms in the morning so they could go and ski – they did. To perfection. Gu – was also incredibly helpful, with pass sanitaires, ski passes and the Covid positive tests (less said the better). Everything was handled with professionalism and care. They delivered an amazing Christmas for us, made me feel like a queen ( chilled wine in the hot tub whilst I read by book, followed by the sensible and welcomed iced water) and really couldn’t do any more to make us have a fantastic holiday. They all deserve a huge congratulations on an amazing job. Because of them we will definitely be back skiing with VIP. And so the end, thank you to the chalet crew – you were amazing – especially to Mo and Ude. And thank you to VIP for selecting great hosts and training them impeccably. You have got it right, and so many haven’t. If I could have given them a 6 star rating I would have. THANK YOU.

This chalet is perfectly located for both Super Morzine & Pleiney lifts. Town is literally on your doorstep, but still allows a great night's sleep, with perfect access to bars, restaurants plus ski hire shops. Hosts are so attentive, but not invasive. The rooms are spacious & comfortable. Boot room was well heated & hot tub was incredible. Food incredible & beer, wine & champagne plentiful. I have been organising a group ski trip for almost 20 years & this was, without doubt the best ski trip we have ever had. Thanks for an awesome holiday. Could not ask for more

This is a great apartment. Very comfortable. The food was excellent and the apartment hosts were very attentive. After near on 15 chalet skiing holidays this was the best. The main hosts were Uday and Morgan who were great hosts. Mo took the VIP experience to a higher level. Thank you.

Amazing chalet with excellent hosts - very attentive without being over the top, friendly, helpful and exactly what you’d expect here. Close got the slopes and the town centre, Chalet Calibri Uno is ideally placed. Spacious, clean, brand new, perfect!

Fantastic chalet, location is central to ski lifts, shops and restaurants, high level of comfort and attention to detail from all the staff, literally couldn't do enough. Had a great week, see you next season!!!

Much of the VIP experience and culture remains, especially in Guillaume resort manager who was absolutely fantastic and went way above and beyond to help us with some traumatic stuff (emotional and practical). Chalet hosts Ude and Morgan were lovely and attentive and very competent but the level of service in some areas was a bit lacking (warm champagne, a little too crummy in places). The use of a part time swap in host was a bit clunky, especially as the part time host seemed as interested in socialising with the permanent team as being a calm provider of an up market guest experience. The apartment was functionally good but the level of finish (decor, furnishings etc) didn’t compare to well with Aspen Lodge or previous VIP chalets stayed in. The nanny sourced from cheeky monkeys was exceptional and the chalet team worked well with her although we had a few issues early in the week around lunch for babe and nanny and children’s tea. Overall we will certainly use VIP again, and are sure that when we have a week without trauma our experience will be better. Many thanks for all the hard work of your team to get us here and look after us all in what at times have been very trying circumstances indeed. Rob Hindle

The VIP experience is absolutely VIP. Our resort manager Guillaume was excellent making sure our every need was met. The chalet staff Alice and Holly were brilliant, really good quality food always served on time in a friendly manner. We will definitely seek to book through VIP again.

Our first time in a catered chalet and we were extremely happy with everything. The chalet girls Holly and Alice couldn't do enough for us and we're the best hosts we could have hoped for. The location of Colibri Uno is perfect and very close to both the Pleney lift and everything you could need. I'm sure we will be back again!

Holly and Sophie were great hosts, welcoming and attentive from the moment we walked in the door. Food was very impressive and superb quality. A great skiing experience, one that I won’t ever forget!

Really loved the chalet, clean and tidy, the skiing area was great could've done with a bit more snow but no issues. The hosts were both really lovely and there was nothing they wouldn't do. Food was good, maybe could be a bit more refined but overall really happy with the holiday.
