Aspen House Loft 3

The Holiday was great, it is the second time we have been with VIP ski to this apartment, Charlie was lovely and a good host, the food was great, the only issue we had was that we felt that the apartment was not kept very clean during our stay, which is a real shame.

We have just returned from a wonderful week in Val d’Isere. All aspects of our holiday ran smoothly from the booking, equipment & lift pass organisation, transfers to and from the airport, comfort and cleanliness of our chalet, food and proximity to the slopes. All the staff at VIP couldn’t not have been more helpful. To top it all, we had the lovely Sacha as our chalet host who was not only an amazing cook and host but fitted in like part of the family! This is the second time I have skied with VIP and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them.

All aspects perfectly catered for as usual. High quality accommodation in the absolute heart of Val D'Isere. Excellent cooking from Charley with lots of fresh ingredients.

Not only is Aspen House located well for access to lifts and slopes but also the shops, bars and restaurants. Sasha looked after us for the week, along with Charley & Evie. All were great hosts, who fed us well and looked after all our needs. And even laughed at the ‘dad’ jokes ! Thanks to all for making our stay so pleasant.

Our first time in Val d’Isere. We were fortunate to have excellent snow and weather which is always a plus. The chalet was perfectly placed for the lifts and the spa facilities were great for easing our bones after a days skiing. Our chalet host, Sacha was a delight, always cheerful, very considerate and fun. The food was excellent and plentiful and more than we could manage to eat! Wine was good but again wasn’t able to do it complete justice. All in all a great ski holiday

We were a party of four. Loft3 is well set out. The double bedrooms are tight but sufficient. The spa facilities were so welcome after a days skiing. We were very fortunate with the weather and conditions- powder snow days mixed with clear blue skies. Our chalet host, Sacha, was delightful and catered so well for us. All in all, another great VIP holiday where we were truly treated as vip’s.

Our 4th visit to Val with VIP Ski and it hasn’t disappointed. Chalet was lovely, position great and Harriet was the perfect hostess she made us feel at home from the moment we arrived. She was always happy and interested in our day and nothing was too much trouble. Charley who covered on Harriets days off was also really lovely. Both were great cooks and they made really good vegan options for me. Would definitely recommend VIP ski to anyone considering a ski holiday. Our ski instructor Sylvain from New Gen was great, he was very patient and was able to accommodate the differing ski levels of our family group.

Chalet host Charlotte was excellent and the food top notch! Location is close to lifts - 5 min walk and the chalet was well equipped with personal ski lockers with heated boot and glove storage.

Loved the chalet and the whole experience and the two staff that looked after us were both excellent and made us feel very comfortable and well fed. Would highly recommend.

Chalets are new and have great facilities. A short walk to the piste in the mornings was ideal and located well for the bars and restaurants in town. Our chalet host made our trip. She was fantastic! Food was good.

We had a fantastic 2 weeks in Loft 3 at Aspen house. As a family of 2 adults and 2 young children the accommodation was perfect. The service provided by our chalet host Charlie and substitue Polly was first class. Nothing was too much for them and they were happy to adjust schedule and meals when required. The concierge service provide was fantastic for organising activities around town.

An amazing 4 night break and another successful VIP ski holiday. Aspen House could not be more perfect for location and quality - probably the best ski lockers I have seen! Charley was the most brilliant host - nothing was a problem and she dealt with our varied dietary requirements admirably! Breakfast, afternoon tea and then the 3 course evening meal were simply stupendous - I don't think we will need to eat until mid Jan! The apartment was beautifully clean and tidy at all times. The concierge service was also a welcome addition - prompt and helpful like all our VIP interactions! Thank you and well done!

We’ve really enjoyed our stay in Loft 3, Aspen House. Our chalet host, Jay, was a great cook and made us feel very welcome. Oxygene brought our ski equipment to the chalet, which was extremely convenient. Our children have also really enjoyed their lessons with Oxygene.

What a week! We have used VIP ski now for 4 years in a row and they never disappoint. Our lovely hosts Charley and Selina made our Christmas week in the alps one to remember! We had such an amazing time and cannot wait for the next trip! Thank you Charley and Selina for the best week.

We had a wonderful Christmas week staying at Aspen house and were very well taken care off the entire week. The food was amazing, and the staff were delightful at all times. We had a great time and will definitely come back!

Our 7th stay with VIP has been made even better by our chalet host Charley. She has proved to be an exceptional and competent organiser and cook. In particular her cheerful and joyful nature have helped to make our stay relaxed and homely in Loft 3. The usual VIP service and friendly efficiency is what brings us back time and again.

We stayed in Loft 3 Aspen House, a delightful and very comfortable 2 bedroom chalet. We loved the decor, log fire, dining and sofa area. The bathrooms were fab - especially the showers! Everything very clean. Soft towels and towelling robes were provided. The bedroom was nicely furnished with generous wardrobes/storage which included a safe. Beds were a little firm but otherwise pillows, duvet and sheets very comfortable. Our host was Hamish. Absolutely charming and looked after us so well. All his meals were very tasty - a smash hit was the lamb with flatbreads on night one. The wine was excellent and we loved the welcome bottle of bubbly. Emily looked after us a couple of times to cover Hamish's day off and she was also adorable and cooked us delicious food - my favourite meal of hers was the pork loin. All the staff that we met during our transfer and stay were lovely, and nothing was too much trouble. Mima, the chalet host contacted me before we even left the UK to ask if we had any particular requirements or wanted to make restaurant bookings. The concierge service was very useful. Nothing seemed to be too much trouble for anyone. I didn't use the Spa or steam room/sauna but my husband did and really enjoyed it. Boot room with heated lockers worked perfectly. Location of the chalet near the church was very picturesque and quiet but only a 5 minute walk to the slopes and the town itself so suited us perfectly. Would definitely recommend and would be keen to come again!

A big thank you to Hamish and the VIP Team for making our week in Val D’Isere such a great trip. We travelled as a group of 4 and were really impressed with the chalet; spacious living area, comfy sofas, a lovely log burning fire and a balcony with great views of the slopes. The spa area downstairs was a lovely addition and we enjoyed using the hot tub and sauna after a day of skiing. Hamish did a wonderful job of hosting us and we really enjoyed our week with him. The breakfast, afternoon tea and dinner were delicious every day, there was a good selection of wine and he was always on hand to offer suggestions of bars and restaurants in the local area. The concierge team were great in organising restaurant bookings and ski lessons. A special thanks to Olly who was an excellent host on Hamish’s evening off and the VIP drivers who were always only 5 minutes away if you needed a lift anywhere. We would highly recommend booking with VIP ski and Aspen lodge in particular and are already planning our next trip!

Hamish was a fantastic chalet host. He did a brilliant job looking after us all. He went out of his way to keep the chalet immaculate and ensure we had everything we need. Thank you for accommodating our request for a shower after skiing on the morning of transfer day. The chalet was beautiful, a big improvement on the old Aspen Lodge building. We were disappointed at the quality of wine provided. The red in particular was so poor we did not drink any. When it is possible to buy such good value red wine in france this seems odd. In addition, I really think you should provide your chalet hosts with an electric hand mixer. it is so time consuming for the chalet hosts to whip cream and mix cake batters by hand when electric whisks can be bought so cheaply, especially given how much guests pay to stay in the chalets.

We had a truly magical holiday and wonderful stay in No 3 Aspen Lodge. The accommodation itself was immaculate, very spacious, and beautifully decorated. Our chalet had a lovely view of the church steeple and "La Face" - tempting us to the slopes, which were conveniently only a few minutes walk away.. We really enjoyed spending time back at the chalet after skiing, lounging on the huge L shape sofa. We were greeted every afternoon with a selection of delicious cakes made my our super chalet girl Jess. She excelled herself with every meal; sending us off in the morning with a hearty breakfast and preparing delicious 3 course dinners in the evening. (Is there going to be a VIP cookbook coming out?!) Jess also chatted with us about restaurants and bars to try and all our bookings were seamless with Charlie taking care of everything. On a few afternoons we enjoyed the jacuzzi, steam room and had it to ourselves! Special thanks also to Louise in the London office for her patience with booking our holiday, lessons, private transfers, ski hire and passes. Thank you VIP, we loved every minute of it! It’s good to see that vip is 100% still delivering. We were really well looked after by Felicity our host and all the team too. Loft 3 Aspen House is a generous chalet/apartment for one family. The high ceilings and views make it feel big so although we are used to multi family chalets this was no disappointment. Location is ideal in the centre of the resort and close enough for an easy slide across the slope to the ski school meet point. Kids and parents very happy.

We had a wonderful stay in Aspen House! Felicity, Jack and Charlie made us feel very welcome and we were well looked after throughout the week. We will certainly be booking again :)

Much about the holiday was great: really lovely staff, attractive & comfortable chalet in a superb location (close to slopes and village centre), good spa facilities, very convenient ski and boot hire. The less great aspects were that the chalet was a bit draughty and the honesty bar system is a bit of rip off given the ‘premium’ positioning of the VIP-chalet brand (why are you charging extra for drinks?). We are comparing your offering to another premium chalet company that we have used and highly rated a number of times: they hire qualified chefs for their chalets, all drinks (soft, beer, wine, champagne, spirits) are included, and champagne & canapés are served every night. Your pricing is similar but their offering is definitely better value.

Thank you for a wonderful couple of days! Our chalet host Sarah was absolutely fantastic - super friendly, professional, helpful and great at cooking! She was very nice with the kids as well. The chalet was very comfortable and very spacious. Our kids felt as they are at home! The most important thing is the chalet was always clean and we were always provided with clean towels. From booking to leaving the resort it has been flawless. We have had a fantastic holiday. The chalet is modern, spacious and comfortable. Guy is a natural host, and cared for us enabling us to relax fully. His cooking was great. Billie our VIP nanny who cared for our 4 year old was exceptional. Our kids and we really enjoyed ourselves. Dan was a managing presence ensuring all our other needs were met. Thank you very much. First rate.

This was our 4th visit to VIP in Val D’Isere and it didn’t disappoint in fact I’d say it’s been the best trip. The new accommodation was excellent and VIP were more than sympathetic and extremely helpful when Geneva airport were not allowing UK passengers to transit through. Sarah our chalet was excellent. Very friendly attentive and nothing was any trouble. Food was great. Sarah was ably backed up by Chalet manager Charlie and Madeline was extremely helpful with organising PCR testing. Louise and Alfie were great when it was Sarah’s time off. Big thanks to all concerned especially Sarah. Can’t recommend VIP highly enough, five star all the way.

This was our second time booking with VIP and we will be back! The loft apartment was beautifully furnished and the living space was the perfect place to relax after skiing. Our chalet host Lucy couldn’t do more to look after us and we loved her cooking. Thank you VIP.

We have had a great time in Val D’Isere. Aspen House has been fantastic, it is set in a perfect location and the apartment has been lovely. The spa is a real treat at the end of a day on the mountains. Meg and Jemima have both been gems during our stay - countless delicious meals and lovely hosts. Ollie and his team of drivers were excellent. We are hoping Chloe returns to full health soon as she was an absolute delight to have around in Aspen!

Brilliant week and loved our stay, just lacking those little details like the heating not working, poor quality push chair for baby, front of desk staff not helping with doors when trying to get double buggy through, food hygiene needs to be covered in training. Evie child care was brilliant and Lucy Chalet host was great.

We have had a brilliant week in Val d'isere. The chalet was really nice, our chalet host was fantastic and the food was delicious. The homemade cakes were a perfect afternoon treat and the cheese selection was great. Short walk to the slopes and excellent spa facilities to relax after a full day skiing.

Our VIP Ski experience has been fantastic. Lucy has gone above and beyond to accommodate our needs. Her service, food and attitude has been exceptional and she has made us feel incredibly welcomed and relaxed. We are regular VIP clients and always find the quality of customer service, care and accommodation to be of the first order. Indeed, why we keep returning. Our holiday in Loft 3 in late January was no different. Paul, as resort manager, and Hannah, as Aspen House manager, could not have been more helpful and attentive when required, while Lucy, our chalet host, spoiled us with her wonderful evening meals and afternoon cakes and cheerful personality. Loft 3 with its high ceilings, view of The Face and spacious living area, plus close proximity to both the town itself and access to the ski slopes, is to be recommended. The shared jacuzzi pool, hamman spa and sauna is also an excellent addition and certainly helps to soothe the weary legs after a day's skiing. We thoroughly enjoyed our week in this chalet, found it so very comfortable and have already booked to return next year.

So here we are, trip 10 with VIP and yet again we had a great family trip with our 3.5 year old son. The loft apartment was outstanding and beautifully appointed, spacious and well designed. The addition of the pool and spa was very much welcome at the end of a good day on the slopes. Lucy our host was lovely and couldn't be more accommodating and welcoming. Food was all cooked and presented beautifully and she always went above and beyond to look after us. Our nanny Jess was fantastic, she was professional, warm-hearted and fun and we had no worries leaving our son in her care - he thoroughly enjoyed being with her and they participated in lots of great activities. Only minor area for improvement would be in the quality of the bedding and some better quality, softer goose down pillows. All in all another thoroughly great trip with VIP with many happy memories. As Loft 3 Aspen House is brand new for the coming season we have no previous guest comments to share at the moment.
