Just Wow. Thank you so much. Charlotte was the very best host for us, so welcoming and engaging. The chalet was lovely, the food plentiful. The weather was varied but also really generous, we had some great skiing. Nothing was too much trouble for the VIP crew and although the hotel was shut down we still had the quiz in the bar and fun. The chalet experience was really great and the location of this accommodation is just brilliant.

Perfect once again. Everything we needed for a great family ski holiday.

We had the most wonderful week at Bear Lodge. Our chalet host Ellie was excellent, making us feel so welcome and was able to fulfil our requests. The facilities were great, the ski in / ski out boot room was just perfect and the wellness centre is superb, especially for a non skier like myself.

We had the most fantastic week in Suite Koda thanks to brilliant hosting by Charlotte. The slopes were superb, and Bear Lodge is so well placed with multiple lifts within easy 'ski out' reach. But what really makes it is the welcome offered to you by the VIP team and, in our case, Charlotte in particular. The food is exceptional, with more than you can possibly eat on offer for breakfast, afternoon tea and dinner. The choice of included wines is excellent, with a well stocked 'honesty bar' for everything else. And more important than all of that is how wonderful a host Charlotte was for us, going out of her way to make it a really special week. Thank you so much for a great stay!

3rd year in suite koda and the quality continues you to amaze me, our Chalet host Charlotte was on point everyday and helped cater for us and our three children. The resort is positioned next to the slopes with ski school pick up at the boot room for the kids. We will be definitely be coming back again.

From the moment we stepped off the bus to our departure 7 days later, Charlotte, our chalet hostess did everything to ensure our week was amazing. Her cooking skills were superb and with cooked breakfast, afternoon tea and a 3 course evening meal we had a wonderful experience. Add to that the ski in, ski out access, we are already looking at another week in 2025! Thank you Charlotte and all the team!

We stayed in Koda from 7-14 January. Fantastic chalet, we were very fortunate that chalet had a bit more space as it had bunk beds for kids, we were only 4. Chalet hosts Charlotte, Elly and Jemima, who rotated, were super friendly and helpful. In general Bear Lodge facility was great, the ski-in, ski-out was fantastic. Only negative (potentially), not at all lodge related, Les Arc 1950 is compared to other towns, very quiet, so from a resort perspective something to consider, or be aware of.

Lovely time in suite koda with friends! The resort is in an extensive ski area for beginners and intermediates. Love the set up of a chalet within a hotels with the facilities of spa , pool , bar etc . Our chalet host Charlotte was so fun and great at her job. Katie was also a very customer focused chalet manager . Only negative feedback is that the bar area in Bear lodge is soul less and needs softer lighting and cosy - ing up ! Needs more APRES SKI vibe. A lovely holiday with a repeat VIP experience. Thank you

It was a fantastic and relaxing stay, with lots of delicious food and drink in a beautiful cosy chalet. Was great to have all the hotel facilities available to us, like the pool and steam room. You could tell the chalet hosts were new, but building in confidence over the week.

After a slight bumpy start, normal service was resumed and the VIP standard was firmly back in place. Jordon the resort manager stepped up and took control of the situation and we began our holiday with a new Chalet host Olivia. Suite koda is perfect for family life, spacious setting with comfy sofas and an amazing view across the valley. We were a family of 5 and the kids loved having the bunk beds as dens and the TVs to watch films. The resort is in prime location with ski in and ski out and ESF meet the little ones at the door for ski school so us adults can begin the day stress free. Our host Olivia delivered the VIP service, she adapted the menu to support a family style meal time and the cottage pie was outstanding. That’s one the reason why we love VIP Ski is the flexibility to cater for everybody, they even delivered a non drinks package for the non drinker of the group. This is our 9th year with VIP our 2nd at bear lodge and we will be back again. Thanks for a great holiday

Hi we’ve just arrived home following another week with you guys in Bear Lodge, Les Arcs. We stayed in chalet Koda (our second visit as the first was so great!) and were looked after by Becca. We couldn’t have asked for more from a ski trip – the accommodation was as fabulous as last time and Becca, our chalet host looked after us brilliantly. Nothing was too much trouble for her, and she was also great fun to have around. We loved the ski-in/ski-out from the boot room and to be able to relax in the jacuzzi and sauna after a days skiing was luxury. Can’t recommend you all highly enough and we will definitely be back! Our holiday with VIP ski was perfect from start to finish. We stayed in Suite Koda as a group and we felt completely looked after the entire week. So so much appreciation for our chalet host Henry, and to Becca and Bel who also came in to cook for us on a couple of nights. They really made our experience special :) luckily we had plenty of snow too which made the skiing amazing - made better by the ski in ski out ability and the facilities for storing all equipment. Will definitely be coming back!

From the minute we arrived, our host, Lucy went out of her way to make us feel welcome and take care of our every need. We couldn't fault the service and felt thoroughly spoilt by the service which was made even better by the great skiing. Lucy was an exceptional host who we couldn't recommend more highly along with the rest of the VIP team. Thank you all for making our holiday a fun and memorable experience. We look forward to coming back!

Lovely chalet and resort! Kate was brilliant with the kids and a fab cook :) One tiny thing- as the wine is included it does seem a bit odd to have to pay extra for the soft drinks!

We've had a fantastic week at Les Arc staying at Chalet Koda. We were a party of two experienced skiers and two novices. Fortunately for us the sun shone brightly every day and we were expertly catered for by Lucy, she was an absolute star and blended into our family dynamic beautifully. Every meal was delicious - thank you so much for all your hard work. The chalet was brand new and fitted to a very high standard, we enjoyed having the real fire burning every evening. We had high vaulted ceilings which looked fantastic. Access to the slopes is about as perfect as it can be and the village just a short 5 minute walk. The provision of skis and boots in the boot room from Inter Sport a bonus. The lessons were excellent and our beginners made great progress. Small negatives - and they are small: - There is no defined relaxation area in the wellness suite, - The bar on the whole is uninviting and would benefit greatly from having an external terrace. - There are no toilets on the same floor as the bar. - We had 2 false fire alarms in the week - one at 1:30am. I'd highly recommend the chalet, and if you are lucky enough to get the services of Lucy, you'll be as sad to be back home and missing her as much as we are.

Everything has been fantastic from the design of the chalet, the pleasantness of all the staff, the location of the hotel, the childcare services, the facilities of the hotel and the great service provided by the chalet host Lucy. Lucy was an absolute star, we have 2 young boys who can be overly fussy at times and nothing was too much trouble. They also both had a great time with Cristina in the day care centre where they were super happy to spend their days. Nothing to fault whatsoever. We will be back I'm sure.

Thank you VIP ski. Fabulous accommodation ski in ski out. Top quality with all the facilities needed. Ski rental onsite took away the pain with two young children. The food was brilliant. Out chalet host Lucy was amazing. The best and perfect host. Thank you to team and see you next year!

We had a wonderful holiday, hosted brilliantly by the 2 Lucys who had the tricky task of looking after 3 families across 2 chalets. The food was fantastic and they were very flexible with dietary preferences which wa a much appreciated. Nothing was too much trouble - even some washing when one of our bags was delayed. We also appreciated a wonderful experience with our nanny Gabby, and the bar staff and Concierge. The set up was also wonderful with a lovely chalet, along with hotel facilities and ski in/out. We hope to return! Thank you to all the staff for making our holiday so amazing!

We were looked after by Lucy who was just brilliant. Between her and her colleagues we had a five star service from the moment we arrived - nothing was too much trouble in terms of our comfort both within the chalet and out on the slopes. Accommodation was superb and location of Bear Lodge couldn’t be better - ski in and out of the boot room! Fabulous to have inter sport on site for ski hire and returns - just so easy and convenient. We booked for next year by day 4 of this years stay! Highly recommended!

An amazing luxurious new chalet, with direct access onto the piste via a heated boot room! Superb food, wonderful chalet host - who nothing asked was too much trouble.

We all had an amazing holiday, despite the poor weather conditions. The chalet was really lovely, comfortable rooms and a nice living room. What made the holiday was our fantastic host Jac! He was so polite and extremely attentive to all of us, including our littlest traveller Blake. After staying in lots of places over the years, we’ve not had a host as good as this. The food was incredible every day, glasses always topped up and he was such a laugh to have hosting the chalet. If you book with VIP make sure you get Jac as your host and you’ll have a holiday as awesome as ours.

We’ve had the most amazing week, despite the snow not being ideal. So impressed with Chalet Koda & the hotel facilities. Our nanny Christina was lovely & Jack our Chalet host, has made our trip! Jack went out of his way to make sure we had everything we need & the food was incredible. Our little girl Blake, loved jack too. We will definitely be back!

We have been very unlucky with snow this year but our host made this trip amazing, Jac couldn’t do enough for us! Amazing cook, host and friend by the end of the holiday! Can’t wait to return and hopefully get Jac on our next visit!!

The Bear Lodge team were warm and welcoming and always available if we needed anything. Beautiful quality and spacious chalet - champagne reception with log fire on arrival - wonderful food from our Chalet host Emily. Loved the spa and indoor pool to relax after a full days skiing. Great selection of ski slopes and Les Arcs 1950 is such a pretty authentic ski village. We certainly plan to return !

A lovely week in Les Arcs at the amazing new Bear Resort! Top-notch luxury and comfort with all the trimmings from VIP Ski! Our chalet host Emily was fantastic and went out of her way to make our stay as smooth and enjoyable as possible - even helping us by carrying our shoes back from town to the chalet on the first day! She prepared delicious meals each day (ably assisted by Tara on two evenings) and was flexible with ingredients to suit our taste. Delicious breakfasts and divine cakes after a hard day on the piste! Thank you Emily! Thank you also to the Reception and Maintenance staff who tried hard to switch off the balcony uplighter outside my bedroom window at night. They didn't quite manage it, so some newly installed curtains on the upper windows might be beneficial for the next guests in the chalet! The resort is very well equipped although there were still a few finishing touches to be completed at the start of the week. We made good use of the Bar and Wellness Centre. The bar is well equipped but would benefit from a bit more of a cosy atmosphere in the evening - maybe some more subtle lighting, Christmas decoration or soft furnishings would help? Thanks to all the team and management at VIP who looked after us from start to finish and enabled us to get onto the slopes for a wonderful week of skiing despite all the challenges this winter. As Arnie once nearly said....We will be back!
