I have to say this was one of the most amazing family trips ever. From the moment we arrived until the moment we left we were taken care of by the best team possible. We had the most incredible chalet host Wilf!! The children all loved it. The skiing was just one part of the trip. Bears club with Christina was just so welcoming and fun for our daughter Raea. Raea never wanted to leave. The cinema club is just a wonderful evening activity for kids and it is so useful for us parents. The entire family were so sad to leave and we are already wanting to book next year and for longer. I have to say the VIP experience really was incredible. Thank you to all who help us and to Katie who was always on the end of the phone helping. WE LOVED IT THERE!

Everything was excellent apart from the flight information (API) which had to done completely twice. That is ridiculous for 8 people when the whole holiday is booked as a package. Not necessary when booking return flights normally

A massive thank you to all at VIP ski for a wonderful break. Bear Lodge was a lovely modern place to stay with great facilities. The staff were all great, and our host Wilf in particular should be commended for making us feel so welcome.

Our second visit to Bear Lodge was just as good, if not better, than our first time. We enjoyed the whole setup so much last year, that we came back with another family this time around. The team have pretty much thought of everything and, with such a prime position on the slopes, everything from the minute you arrive feels effortless. Wilf was just an amazing chalet host and did a brilliant job of looking after us - his cooking skills and chat were equally top-notch. The rest of the team from the front desk to the bar staff to the dedicated ski instructors were also fantastic and contributed to an exceptional holiday. Looking forward to returning again.

Yet another splendid week with VIP, chalet was roomy and comfortable with easy access to the slopes and lifts. Wilf or host and his entourage of occasional female helpers was little short of exceptional ! Indeed the whole of the staff at Bear Lodge were amazing, we were particularly impressed with the support we received when our of or group was hospitalised with a dislocated shoulder . After rising like Phoenix from the ashes of administration brand VIP goes from strength to strength! A mention also for the excellent staff at the booking office, We have already signed up for a week in Avoriaz for 2025!

Second time of visiting Bear lodge and I was wasn’t disappointed. The staff bend over backwards to help you and always polite and courteous. Standard of accommodation is great and the food is always a high standard. Back again in March.

All staff we met were helpful and very caring. A special shout out to Wilf, Izzy and Scott who were really exceptional. Food was really good and my dietary requirements (gf) perfectly catered for. Chalet was clean, tidy and rooms kept very clean.

First time with VIP ski having been with many other chalet companies. Lived up to high expectations. Our chalet host Wilf was amazing as was the chalet and its location.

We booked a very last minute ski holiday to stay in the Yogi Suite at Bear Lodge. We had the most amazing time, our chalet host Wilf was fantastic preparing amazing 3 course meals and keeping the chalet clean and tidy throughout the duration of our stay. Wilf catered to our dietary needs with no problems, his interpersonal skills were excellent and the level of service he provided was above and beyond what we expected. The hotel itself was beautiful with amenities like the sauna, steam room and jacuzzi providing the perfect space to relax after a day on the slopes. We cannot recommend the Yogi suite and Wilf highly enough! He was amazing and allowed us to switch off and relax which was exactly what we needed! Whoever has the chance to visit Chalet Yogi next is very lucky!

VIP SKI never disappoints. Been staying with VIP SKI for years and honestly the best chalet, staff, facilities and more. The food is sensational as well as our host Wilf who made us feel very welcome especially with our morning drinks in bed with the most amazing views of the slopes. Bear Lodge really is ski in and ski out as you don’t even have to walk a 50 metres until you can ski off into the gorgeous les arc slopes. The spa and gym is amazing for a day after the slopes aswell as the amazing afternoon tea. Could not recommend this place more and we will 100% be coming back as soon as we can.

My experience at Yogi was absolutely terrific with impeccable service from our chalet host Wilf. In addition to the outstanding facilities the food served was presented excellent and tasted delicious. Would definitely recommend VIP ski for any families that want to experience a fun, relaxed setting with plenty of activities to keep you occupied.

Epic short stay. Everything perfect.

Perfectly situated and well equipped ski hotel. Friendly and professional staff. Tash worked very hard to look after our family group and ensure everyone was well catered for. Lovely apartment with only a couple of minor issues - could be improved by providing hooks in the rooms, there was nowhere to hang ski gear/robes etc. Bedroom was very warm and it was difficult to get it cool enough to sleep comfortably because windows wouldn't stay open.

Suite Yogi was everything they told us it would be. Fab position right on the slope, our bedroom looked down onto the run outside leading to two lifts, could not have been better. Natasha, Connor & Henry looked after us superbly all week. The food was excellent & the wine flowed. Bear Lodge has its own ski room with individual lockers & boot heaters, leading directly onto the slopes. Ski rental happens here, meaning no walk up to the village at the start & end of the week, wonderful. There’s also a spa with pool, sauna & jacuzzi, cinema room, & bar with reasonable prices for the end of day margarita. Fab holiday, we’d definitely go back.

Great week in Les Arcs staying in Bear Lodge - couldn’t get over the amazing location of the hotel and we were looked after by Tash all week who was brilliant :) Thank you VIP!

Fantastic time had by all. Welcomed by Marc on the road side as we had driven to resort ourselves. Coach was unloading in the driveway on arrival, but Marc still managed to cross the road and give us a brief welcome while the coach was being unloaded. Marc directed us up the drive after the coach departed to unload our bags at reception, then directed us to the underground carpark. Natasha (Tash) and Becca welcomed us into our chalet and showed us to our rooms. Dinner service was explained swiftly and canapés served shortly before. Matt and Ben looked after us at the hotel bar. Murray was keen to engage in conversation with us as were all the other staff. Even if it was just a simple “how was your day today?” while passing in corridors/lifts/bar areas. We were fortunate to have a guest fridge in the chalet which was fully stocked with beer and soft drinks all week. Food was good and always on time. Tash and Becca were always informative of each course and wine was provided throughout dinner service. Boot room location was spot on. Definitely the definition of ski-in/Ski-out. Very short walk to 1950 village. Ideal for ski hire. All in all, a fantastic week had by us 3. We hope the staff have enjoyed our company just as much

When we arrived we were warmly welcomed with the best canapés i have ever eaten and some cheeky champagne. Our meals were honestly the best food I have ever eaten. Yogi chalet is amazing, it’s warm, homely and comes with great chalet hosts. Tash, Tommy, Georgie were are chalet hosts and were the nicest, funniest, kindest, loviest chalet host i have ever had! Les arc 1950 is a great location with all the skiing being for beginners to being pro. The town is a 2 minute walk away from Bear lodge which has a lovely homely feel to it. Bear lodge has many things to do off the slope, including: massage, bar, sauna, steam room, jacuzzi, cinema room and more. Overall I can’t recommend VIP enough to any group of people from family trip to a girls get away. Everyone is so nice and made me feel welcomed the second I walked in. It was Epic!!!!

Even as a non skier I had an amazing holiday, with plenty to do. The swimming pool, spa, treatments and fitness room kept me busy. Access on the pedestrian lifts was easy to go and meet the rest of the family for lunch. Our chalet hosts, Tash, Tommy & Georgie couldn’t do enough for us. The food was incredible, we are definitely going to miss them next week.

What an amazing week! I am blown away by our stay at Bear Lodge the past week. The hotel is so clean and safe I cannot recommend it enough the lengths the staff go to and how friendly they all are made the experience. Tash, Tommy and Georgie were our chalet hosts for the week, they always went above and beyond for us and no problem was too big for them. The food was the best I have ever had it was so fresh and tasty! All in all I cannot recommend VIP enough for all they have to offer… will definitely be back :)

We have had a wonderful time this week. If you are staying in Yogi this season then you are in for a proper treat. Tash, Tommy & Georgie are the dream team. Wonderful food and fabulous banter. As good a chalet holiday as we've ever received. VIP SKI should be very proud. The apartment is amazing and in the perfect location. A fabulous stay. Merci.

We have had a great week here, weather brilliant, ski in and out brilliant, ski hire excellent service from within the ski and boot room, the wellness centre used everyday after a long day skiing. Our chalet host cooked a lovely 3 course meal every night and was on hand to give advice in all areas of the holiday - excellent service. We are already planning to bring our children and grandchildren here in the near future.

From the start the welcome was friendly and helpful. My husband and I drove through France and Charlotte helped us find the correct building when we arrived in Les Arcs. Theo and Alana were our hosts for most of the week with some fill in by Ellie - all of them were brilliant and felt like part of the family - wished we could take them home with us! Their cooking and service were amazing - they really went the extra mile. The apartment was spacious and comfortable. The ski room was heated, (sometimes a bit too hot) the door of which goes right onto the slopes. Ski hire easy and efficient. The pool was easily accessed by the lift or stairs and was always clean and tidy. The only negative that I can think of for the entire week was that I ate too much! What’s not to like! if we’re able, we will return.

We had the most wonderful holiday with VIP! In the ten yrs I’ve been a parent I was yet to find a holiday where it felt like I had a holiday as a mum, until now! Everything was so easy, I wouldn’t ski anywhere else with kids now! We’ve had some awful experiences with places that claim to be family friendly but VIP really was! All the staff were so brilliant and friendly and really go out of their way to help. Big shout out to Alana, Theo and Ellie our chalet hosts, they were perfect, kind and fun. Ben the resort manager sorted out some issues we had with ski school. Henry was really helpful on the coach and the kids loved the snacks! The nannies were super, msg to help put your mind at ease even when you haven’t asked them to, it’s all the little touches like that. The pool is beautiful and hot tub a real treat. The only issues we had were related to transfer. We had to wait 3hrs for our connecting coach which wasn’t ideal but once on it I was very pleased we took it, Henry was helpful, provided information, snacks, the kids had a run around at the stop and toilet on the coach was good. On the return the coach experience was a massive let down and such a shame to end an incredible wk this way. Masks compulsory, which is fair enough, however eating was prohibited! Being on an 11am coach for 3hrs over lunch with 4 children and no eating is not funny! We were told we were picking up guests at the bottom of the mountain in Bourg, which was fine, what we weren’t told was that this was the comfort break! None of the 7 of us went to the toilet as the rep had not said this was the comfort break. This would’ve been ok if we were allowed to use the toilet on the coach or eat on the coach! Coach driver was utterly grumpy and the toilet was clearly not broken he just didn’t want people to use it. The driver then said we couldn’t stop! Once one of the adults in the party said he’d wee on the coach he soon stopped and we had to go on the roadside! Not very VIP. All of this was very avoidable if the rep had told us the coach toilet didn’t work and when our comfort break was!(On the way out everyone used the toilet as you had to pay at the comfort break so it was understandable we assumed the same for the return.) The rep explained that each coach is different but that is not for guests to guess! I strongly recommend that VIP iron out which coach drivers/companies are better than others because this will impact their level of service when it is out of their control. If it was my company I wouldn’t be using the return coach driver again! First coach was honestly such a pleasant experience. Reps need to be well prepared and communicate to guests efficiently. Henry did just this. Other than this the holiday was flawless and we absolutely will return. Thanks so much VIP!

The chalet is wonderful and in a prime location. You can't get more ski-to-door. There's a few minor snags with the chalet itself: we stayed in Suite Yogi and the bathroom doors could do with handles, the chalet is too hot and impossible to adjust to a comfortable temperature throughout the chalet. Outside the chalet the spa is fantastic however the steam room didn't work which is a shame. Also it would be nice if the lifts had an up and a down call button and worked in tandem. The chalet hosts (Alana, Gracie and Theo) were fantastic, fun and all the food was consistently great, including for our vegan guest. We had an amazing time, thank you! :0)

Ski in Ski out holidays don't get better than this. Perfect for our family. Kids ski school on the doorstep, a swim / sauna or drink in bar at end of the day, before outstanding food and wine in our own chalet. Alana and Izzy are excellent hosts - nothing too much for them - thank you for a fabulous week.

Having holidayed withVIP previously we were very pleased with Bear lodge. Chalet Yogi is outstanding accommodation and Alana as a host was brilliant!

After a missing ski year and a late unexpected policy change from the French, we were looking forward to this trip with more than our usual anticipation – and we weren’t disappointed. Flight transfer arrangements were well organised. The chalet was roomy, clean and well set up overlooking the ski slopes. You can literally ski to and from the door and the centre of Les Arcs 1950 is only 100 yards away but not so close that we suffered from any noise. The hotel facilities of free pool, jacuzzi, steam room and sauna were an added bonus. However the icing on the cake were the chalet staff of Louis and Hannah (aided also by Alana and Tara on the days off). They worked well together, were quietly confident and efficient but happy to engage in the banter of out group. Better still the food was superb (and as a former restaurateur, this is not a compliment I would pay lightly) The group has been skiing annually for a number of years and we all agreed that this was the best yet and are hoping to return next year (and we want Louis and Hannah back too!)

Transfer very professional, arrival and reception staff very efficient. Chalet hosts, Louis and Hannah were great. Excellent interpersonal skills communicating easily and effectively with people much older than themselves. Nothing was too much trouble. Similarly, Tara and Alana who helped out were also great. The quality of the food was excellent with our hosts cooking our meals very well. I was never left thinking that I could eat more. The food selection over the week was good and they were able to cater for a few dietary changes to accommodate some of our group. All in all a great holiday in a chalet with superb access to the slopes. I know that this is a new building and that we are some of your first guests in there, hopefully you will be able to address some of the issues raised above. But many thanks to Hannah and Louis. The chalet itself is comfortable, but I personally found my room a little small though very well furnished. I was a little disappointed with the communal areas, a nice pool, but why was the steam room not operating every afternoon. The fitness room only had a few weights with no other gym equipment. The bar needs more soft furnishings to deaden some of the noise generated because of floor coverings. Because of the high ceilings in there the noise does echo around and create excessive noise which needs to be dampened down. The drinks offering in the bar was fine for me with a selection of beers.

I would just like to say a really big thanks to all the VIP staff especially Hannah, Louis, and Tara. It’s very difficult to find fault in anything. Very good food and the accommodation was extremely spacious and comfortable with great views of the mountains. Above all what I appreciate was how all the staff went out of their way at all times to make us feel relaxed, comfortable and well looked after.

Hannah, Louis, Tara and the rest of your team were super helpful, warm and friendly whilst always very professional. The bar lighting / space is too big and open, but in covid years maybe what works best. Good food. Would come again

The Chalet staff were excellent especially our host Alana. Great food & great skiing the Chalet is in a perfect position possibly one of the best ski in ski out properties in the Alps.
