The Farmhouse

From the minute we arrived Hugo and Jade made us feel very welcome and the children absolutely adored them. The whole VIP team were excellent and made the whole holiday a very relaxed experience. Nothing was too much trouble and we'd recommend the Farmhouse for group bookings looking for close proximity to the slopes.

A very pleasant stay in the Farmhouse for Christmas! Chalet more cozy than comfortable but don't let this put you off. Hugo and Jade are wonderful, very accommodating and excellent hosts! The food was fab, great facilities (especially the pool/steam room area). All in all, dank. Thanks very much!

Chalet very cosy and comfortable, rooms very nicely furnished with everything you need although bijou other than the master suite that was very comfortable and spacious. Breakfast was top notch with everything we would have wanted and beautifully cooked. With some slightly tardy kids our hosts were always happy to keep it coming. Evening meals were excellent and varied. The Teryaki beef was a particular favourite. The pool and steam room went down well after a long day on the slopes. Ski hire was well organised and passes all sorted and delivered. Hugo and Jade were bright and friendly and looked after us all very well. A big thank you to them both for helping make our family Christmas ski holiday one to remember.

Wonderful holiday in The Farmhouse Chalet. From the moment we arrived until we departed we were looked after to an exceptional level by our delightful hosts Hugo and Jade. We were a party of 10 consisting of 6 adults and 4 children age six and under so took over the whole chalet. VIP ski also provided two great childminders Evie and Amber who were terrific with the kids. Wewanted to take them home with us! This chalet is in a fantastic location and has every amenity including a pool and Hamman. My grandkids loved the chalet, the hosts and its facilities. Everything needed for young children including a baby was provided by the chalet. I would highly recommend this chalet and will bring my family back here again. Thank you for the memories Hugo and Jade. A five star chalet which I thoroughly recommend.

A fantastic week spent in The Farmhouse. Beautiful, cosy chalet in a perfect location in the old town. Hugo and Jade we're delightful hosts - nothing was too much trouble and great company. Nick provided a wonderfully varied menu across the week which meant we left a little heavier than when we arrived. Kir was a big hit with the kids and will be sorely missed when we get home. The whole week from start to finish demonstrated an attention to detail which was appreciated by everyone in our group.

Could I just say after 35yrs of chalet holidays to experience such a young couple with qualified cooking experience is beyond reproach.

Jade and Hugo have been superb hosts. Along with the team including George and Ollie the service has been terrific. True VIP service from all involved. As customers who had a previous poor service we were worried, on reflection there was nothing to be concerned about. Would strongly recommend VIP. From the point of pick up to the end of our stay everything has been superb. If you get the chance combine your VIP stay with TDC coaching no matter your level of skiing you'll have a great experience and learning something.

The chalet was was delightful and cozy but it was the chalet hosts that made our stay. They were warm, welcoming and accomodating. The food was delicious! We had a wonderful week. Thank you very much!

Wow. What a fabulous holiday. This was our 14th ski holiday together - and our best yet. The glorious sunshine all week with still enough snow en piste of course played its part. But the way we were looked after by our chalet hosts, Rachael and Chris, made our week. Nothing was too much trouble - pancakes for the kids breakfast, caring for a sick member of our group, pandering to our every need, even laughing at our jokes! The best chalet hosts we have ever had. We felt this was down to VIP Ski too as Rachael and Chris where confident and comfortable in the support they had and they way in which the company expected its guests to be treated. We can't recommend VIP Ski and the Farmhouse chalet enough - especially if you are looked after by Rachael and Chris.

Excellent holiday, concierge service was great. Chris and Rachel did an outstanding job and kept us well fed and watered, lovely to have around the chalet. We would definitely come back.

Great holiday staying in the Farmhouse with efficient and friendly staff, good accommodation , food and wine . Very cold week but great skiing and warm hospitality. Steam room helped to warm the bones at the end of the ski day ! VIP helpful in organising this and linking to Edinburgh flights appreciated.

Great week in Val d'Isere. Lovely weather, excellent skiing. VIP - excellent chalet staff (Chris and Rachel). They were friendly and helpful at all times, making wonderful food and dealing with horribly messy bedrooms without complaint!! The Farmhouse - top location but it is tired and needs some investment. Eg. Showers in bath which are difficult to use if you are tall. The living room is way too small for 9/10 people. The sofa configuration makes it almost impossible to use the balcony. Attention to detail lacking a little - light bulbs missing, lamp not working, curtains missing rings etc.

Thank you for your feedback. We’ve passed everything on to the resort maintenance team who have had a thorough check of the chalet to replace light bulbs and ensure that everything is in full working order. We hope to welcome you back to Val d’Isere soon.

Amazing accommodation in a fantastic location. Our VIP hosts provided unbelievable service throughout the holiday. The food they cooked was irresistible and their company a welcome change from even the best resort hotel. I am leaving with only one regret.... That the holiday was only one week instead of two!

The best Christmas we have ever had. From the Maldives to Sydney, The Farmhouse, Val d'Isere comes out tops. Rachel and Chris have made us feel so welcome, their warm welcome, amazing cooking skills and the way they made our disabled son feel cared for and at ease has been extremely special. We've been blown away :)

The booking experience was excellent and efficient. The hosts, Will and Ella, were very friendly and welcoming. The chalet is very characterful and cosy and in a great location. Heated boots were very welcome each morning. The food was varied, tasty and plentiful. The skiing was amazing in beautiful sunshine. There were no lift queues and plenty of watering holes on the mountain. Transfers to and from the airport were very good but due to queues we would avoid Grenoble if possible.

Our group all had a fantastic time at The Farmhouse. We were 4 adults and 5 children (between 4 and 7 y/o) and the chalet was comfortably big enough for us all. The accommodation was excellent, with the rooms all a good size and with a spacious living room that we relaxed in after the kids had gone to bed. Our hosts, Will and Ella, were fantastic, cooking us great meals throughout the week and generally being extremely helpful with our various requests about the resort. We would highly recommend for others looking for a family oriented ski holiday.

Fabulous week once again provided by VIP, Ella and Will our hosts were delightful, as we dediced to go Platimum we were lucky enough to have all our meals cooked by their Execultive Chef Matt, the food was sensational, most evenings were spent watching him prepare our food and chatting with him, what a great guy. The Farmhouse itself it a delight, full of Character the addition of the new Steam/Pool suite makes this property totally unique and was a fantastic place to relax after a hard days Skiing. The VIP drivers were also delightful arriving promptly whenever called. The weather was perfect which made it even better. Once again VIP you excelled in everyway as alway, we will certainly be back next year thank you !

Great holiday. Fantastic staff. Brilliant nanny who enabled us to go skiing every day - she did a fantastic job of caring for our baby and went above and beyond for us. Lovely chalet staff who cooked excellent food, who were always happy and friendly and were amazing with our baby offering regular cuddles so that we could eat.

Good location. Cramped conditions in the kitchen which is where most people spend their time. Bad ski room and tiny bedrooms. Good to have every room with en suite but bad lighting in rooms. Poor menu. Harry Josh and Emily were really friendly helpful and did everything to make sure we had a lovely time.

It's great to read Harry, Josh and Emily looked after you. We are unable to increase the size of the bedrooms, but works are now underway to convert The Farmhouse to a chalet for 10 (not 14) and complete with private pool. Gareth Crump - Sales & Marketing Director

We have had an absolutely wonderful stay at the Farmhouse. The chalet is extremely cosy and all of us felt totally at home right from the start. Harry and Emily have taken really well care of us too making us feel very spoilt and well taken care of. The food has been amazing. All in all, we are very satisfied and happy with our stay and would happily recommend it to friends.

Absolutely fabulous holiday. Can't find fault at all. Accommodation was excellent in a great location and suitably luxurious surroundings. The food and drink were second to none. Going to have to go on a regime on my return. The chalet hosts were the best we' d ever had in 14 years of coming to Val D'Isere. Going to be difficult to beat!

We had a great week in the farmhouse being well catered for by Harry & Sam. The food was very good, especially the evening meals, and the guys were excellent company. The chalet is ideally located, just a short walk to the slopes, and has a lovely traditional feel.

Lovely holiday with family that suited a mix of ages and skiing standards. Well located chalet only a short walk to the piste, with a lovely homely feel although rooms were smaller than shown in the website pics and could have done with more light! Lovely home cooked food and plenty of wine but dining area quite cramped for our party (13) and benches not ideal. Harry and Emily were great hosts and were very accommodating when we changed our plans on a couple of occasions. Some more information about what to see in the town, and about places to ski, best lifts, mountain restaurants would have been nice but all in all a very relaxing and fun filled week. Thank you!

Family of 4 (5 yr and 9mth), the chalet hosts couldn't have been better (Malcolm and Helen), they made our life very easy, couldn't do enough for you and even brought a wake up coffee in the morning ;)

There were 14 of us ,including 3 first time skiers ( 5,5 and 8) and a toddler of 16 months. We arrived tired after our 3 hour coach journey and were quickly taken to get our ski hire then driven to our chalet and welcomed by the very friendly Charlie and Alex, our hosts. They had prepared a delicious meal which was just what we all needed after a long day. All the meals after that were really tasty and produced with the minimum of fuss. They also dealt with our 2 families and 4 boisterous children with good humour and charm. The rest of our stay just flowed along without a hitch, thanks to them and the efficient VIP staff. The chalet accomodation was the perfect layout for us all and worked really well with the children. Polly the nanny who looked after our youngest was delightful and they had great time together.. The 3 boys had a good time in their ski class and were confidently skiing down from the cable car with us by the end of the week. A big thank you to Charlie, Alex, Polly and Megan ( and Katy on the coach) for making our week so successful!

Friendly staff room nice, snow not great but that can't be helped

We had a fantastic week in the Farmhouse and that was thanks mainly to Stu and Emily. They were both extremely helpful with any requests and the food was all delicious. The chalet itself was well set up and the rooms comfortable. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend it.

A terrific holiday, with the ideal combination of snow and sun, and great to be back in Val d'Isere after several years away. The Farmhouse is a charming chalet, full of character and ideally located. We were lucky to have Emily and Stu to look after us; they were always helpful, good fun and great cooks.

We've had a wonderful stay in the heart of old Val d'Isere. Our hosts and Stu have taken great care of us, cooking up some wonderful evening meals (personal highlights include pork belly and crackling, slow roasted lamb and a starter of cheesy croziflette) and tasty hearty breakfasts, and giving us tips on where to ski and après. The chalet has a lovely old rustic and wooden feel, and our room was spacious, clean and comfortable. We'd definitely return and recommend VIPSKI to friends. And a huge thank to Roo and Stu, and all the other guests in our chalet who made our stay so ace!

Haz and Stew are absolutely incredible chalet hosts! They helped us settle in and were professional, friendly and enthusiastic! They went above and beyond in everything they did. Highly recommend staying in the farm house. I'd come back again in a heartbeat!

This goes down as without question our best ski chalet holiday ever! Farmhouse was a superb chalet, made even better by the winning team of Stu, Haz and Holly. Nothing was too much trouble, and they did everything within their powers to make every moment of our holiday as memorable as they could. We totally loved them, and we hope VIP get to know how good you really are at your respective jobs! The food was amazing at every single meal; breakfast, afternoon tea and dinner. Absolutely fantastic stay. I can't say enough to praise Joe and Fred particularly. They consistently delivered professional but personal service. They made us feel so welcome, the food was amazing and everything was always delivered with a smile and some banter, loved the notes in the morning! It would be great to get fondue on the menu...perfect for the chalet. I will definitely be recommending VIP and specifically The Farmhouse to others. Terrific holiday!

Great holiday in Val again. First time with VIP and with Fred and Joe looking after us, definitely a step up in quality of service. Fantastic food and nothing a trouble. Professional but relaxed attitude.

Joe and Fred are simply exemplary chalet hosts - superbly hospitable, great cuisine and always helpful, they made our stay at the Farmhouse one of the best chalet experiences you could hope for. Thanks both!

Food was excellently prepared by guys who clearly knew what they were doing. Great menu and afternoon teas. Location of the chalet was good and in a very nice part of the town. Distance to slopes for skiing just about right. Weather superb Transfer staff very friendly and engaging. Chalet staff were very capable, diligent, and efficient in completing their tasks without ever seeming stressed - full marks and they deserve commendations.

What can I say. Fred and Jo came highly recommended and they were even better than we could have hoped for. The ultimate was probably them grabbing us on chalet day off to positively seek us out and ask how our day was and also giving us directions around town. They made the chalet a real 5 star experience.

An excellent chalet, great hosts in Fred and Jo, great location and superb service. I have skied all over Europe and this was one of the best experiences I've had, well done guys.

Sometimes you get lucky and the weather and the resort and your chosen holiday company just come up trumps. We stayed in Farmhouse, hosted by Joe and Fred, who created the best experience by cooking up a storm and just being the most delightful guys you could ever wish to encounter In a catered chalet in val d'Isere. There were a few problems initially with the accommodation....not really worth going into, as VIP immediately sprung into action and having ascertained the issue, went out of their way to provide a satisfactory solution. Basically we could not fault the cooking and the atmosphere created by team Joe and Fred.

There have been few occasions during my 19 years on this planet that I've been left speechless at the quality of a holiday and my family and I owe it all to Fred and Joe. Smiling faces, a warm welcome and exemplary food greeted us on a daily basis. BIG UP x

Everything you'd expect from a chalet and it's hosts and more. Fabulously located clean chalet near to town and slopes. Our hosts Fred and Joe couldn't do enough for us and were always ready to help. Beautiful freshly prepared food and the option of a cheese board every night. Would highly recommend.

We all had a fab time at the farmhouse this week -a cosy chalet in the middle of town with lovely rooms, lovely chalet hosts and amazing food!, Joe Rachel and Fred were fabulous this week - their menus were on par with a good restaurant and they were so friendly and helpful at all times! I'm not someone to gush but on this occasion it is required...we had an amazing holiday at the farmhouse, a beautiful traditional yet chic chalet in a perfect location. Fred, Joe and Rachel are amazing chalet hosts; they strike a perfect balance between professionalism and friendliness and all of the meals were superb! I would highly recommend a stay at the farmhouse.

This was my second time skiing and first time staying in a chalet...it was one of the best holidays I could have asked for! The chalet is amazing,as a group of 12 people, there was plenty of space and the communal areas were warm and cosy - adding to the overall ski experience. More notably, the chalet staff - Joe, Fred and Rachel could not have been more fantastic. The cooking was impressive every day, they were always very polite and made sure they were doing everything they could to make you comfortable and happy. I would love to come back to the farmhouse and will recommend it to all my friends looking for a fun VIP ski holiday :)

The Farm House stay was excellent, the staff were extremely nice and nothing was a problem. The chalet was clean and always tidied by the staff. Joe, Fred and Katie cooked afternoon tea which was always lovely and also made a vegan option for Madi. The dinners were also tasty and delicious. Over all we couldn't have made a better pick for a holiday resort and chalet. Of cause we couldn't have had all of the luxuries possible without the hard working staff.-steph

We are a family of 5 staying with another family of 6. Our hosts Tom and Joe made us the most incredible meals, amazing afternoon teas and delicious dinners. The children ate first and had a more child friendly menu which was perfect. The chalet was comfortable and plenty of room in the communal areas for the children to be separate if wanted. Tom and Joe were excellent hosts and it was such a treat to be catered for. Thank you so much!

Great week in val d'isere! We have had a lot of fun, cooking was fab (especially the bread sauce) and the chalet was always clean and tidy :) Fro and Jed are top guys always up for a laugh. All in all a lovely Christmas at farmhouse!!

The farmhouse provided a spacious and comfortable environment for the whole family, this was further complimented by the delights of our cheerful and helpful chalet boys, Fred and Joe. Their scrumptumptious food brought smiles to our faces. The food continued to please us during breakfast and afternoon tea. The entire holiday was fabilicious and the skiing was most pleasing. We thoroughly enjoyed the dashingness of the VIP experience. We shall forever look back on this holiday with fabdab mems. Thanks a bajillion!

We have Just finished a week in Val d'Isere in the Farmhouse. What a great week it was. We had a great time and the snow conditions were ok but what really made the week was the excellent experience from VIP. Our chalet hosts were spot on and totally professional. Both Fred & Joe, our chalet hosts were very passionate & nothing was too much trouble for them during this enjoyable week. The food was first class with some excellent dishes & cakes in the afternoon Thanks so much lads & keep up the good work & have a great season.
