With over 25 years of luxury chalet expertise, we’re ready to train aspiring hosts. In the Morzine mountains, VIP SKI Chefs will help you master chalet operations. You'll gain hands-on cooking experience and enjoy lunch from your morning’s work.
If you’re considering a job as a chalet host, or already have a job lined up for this winter, but nervous about your cooking ability, lacking in experience or catering confidence then this course is ideal for you. Our course will boost your confidence, ensuring a stress-free start to the season so you can fully enjoy your role. Complete the week, and you’ll also have the chance to interview for a host position with us.
This course equips you to cook chalet menus confidently and with flair, covering cooking principles, menu planning, and ingredient harmony. You’ll gain lifelong skills for chalet hosting and general cooking. With small, interactive classes, the relaxed course also allows free time to explore Morzine.
Your day kicks off with hands-on cooking sessions at 8am, each morning spotlighting new skills and techniques. By midday, you’ll savour lunch made from your morning’s hard work. Afternoons bring a chance to explore the beautiful village of Morzine and its surroundings before returning to the chalet at 4pm to prepare a delicious 3-course dinner, wrapping up by 7:30pm. It's a full, dynamic day - packed with learning, fun, and plenty of cooking!
Held in the beautiful French Alpine resort of Morzine, this course places you right in one of our luxury chalets, complete with a hot tub! You’ll get hands-on experience in a real chalet kitchen, working at altitude with the same hours you’d keep as a chalet host—making it an ideal setup for mastering the role. Experienced chalet hosts and chefs will guide you through every step, sharing insights in a relaxed, small-group setting (just 8 participants max), encouraging you to ask questions, connect, and learn both the cooking skills and the daily rhythms of chalet life.
