Chalet Kipnuk

We had a great week at Kipnuk. The food was outstanding and the views over the resort and mountain are awesome. George and Max are super hosts and helped make our holiday a great one!

First time to Avoriaz - great central ski location easy access to slopes from town. Chalet is pretty new and very well set up. Top floor room with en-suite, great shower,comfortable beds, small balcony overlooking mountains! George our host couldn’t have been more helpful, his cooking is the best chalet food we have had. Different every night and wine included. The baking in the afternoon was not to be missed! Thanks George!

As our first ski holiday away with a two and four year old we were a little apprehensive. Over planning and over thinking. Jessica was fantastic at dealing with all our requests and questions. Upon arrival the team were incredible, helping us settle in straight away. George was by far the highlight of our holiday (well second to the bluebirds). He was amazing with the children. Made us feel at home. And looked after us with 5 star service. Would highly recommend a VIP Ski holiday.

The chalet was lovely and very tastefully finished with an interior to compliment the surroundings. The food was excellent, our hosts were very accommodating and couldn’t help enough. Would definitely recommend VIP Ski to others.

Fantastic! George our chalet host was amazing, nothing was too much trouble, and he constantly impressed us and the kids. He made our week more than special. Lucy and Martha, our nannies for the week, were also amazing. The kids loved them and they went above and beyond, keeping the happy and ski friendly vibe going for the children. Amelia and Henry, our resort team, kept everything on track and their relaxed but efficient manner was perfect for the week. Max and Alex kept the big ski energy going and we really had the best time. We will be VIP’ing again next year without a doubt!

Fantastic chalet, everything lived up to expectations. Chalet host George was amazing, especially with our four year old twin granddaughters. Had a great time.

A lovely chalet with all the comforts you’d expect from a luxury ski company. The chalet has a great position in the village, very close to the centre and with wonderful views from the panoramic windows. The chalet host George was charming, as was the second host Max; they could not have been more helpful.

We couldn’t have wished for a better family skiing holiday. Excellent service and communication beforehand, a wonderfully smooth and hassle-free private transfer and into a beautiful, well-equipped, spacious and centrally-located chalet. Our hosts, George and Max, were exemplary and nothing was too much trouble, with excellent food and service for both adults and children. We are very sad to be going home!

A great trip away with friends - we were incredibly well looked after by George, Max, Amelia, and the team. The chalet experience only enhanced the amazing skiing.

First and foremost your selection process for recruitment must be great as all your team were “on it”, good at their jobs and very personable. Top of our team was George our chalet host. Always smiling and providing super food and advice with no complaining. Max stood in for George on his evening off and again very personable and served a lovely meal. Chalet was super - location (although not really ski in/out), well equipped, warm and comfortable. Amelia and Henry - resort managers were readily available either f2f or via WhatsApp (sorry Henry!) We prebooked the aperitif package which caused a little confusion at first for the in resort team but they soon resolved it and everyone was happy although we wouldn’t go for the aperitif package again as there is more than enough food and drinks available. Well done VIP SKI!

The chalet was very cleverly designed with a contemporary style. The living /dining area worked perfectly. The bedrooms were surprisingly spacious for ski accommodation. The bath robes were a lovely touch. The hot tub was very welcome. Our chalet host George was excellent. He cooked fabulous meals, offered lots of local advice and was very friendly. Only criticisms / observations : - the chalet is not ski in , ski out as advertised. - the bath towels are on the small side and could do with being larger. - the top floor bedroom could maybe do with having a curtain across the bedroom entrance to cut out noise and light from the window to downstairs.

A brilliant VIP Ski experience once again. Nothing was too much trouble. Made our family holiday effortless. Thank you to Kate, Lottie & Amelia for going above and beyond. The nanny service with Lucy & Kayleigh - super attentive and kids loved them and made our lives super easy.

Wonderfully appointed chalet set over 4 levels, perfect for 2 families (4 adults 3 kids total). Stunning views, a log fire and delicious breakfasts and dinners prepared by talented and attentive Kate & Ella. We loved the new hot-tub, sledges provided for the kids, thick carpet underlay, powerful showers and the staff working as a co-operative, welcoming team. Having holidayed with VIP 5+ times c15-20yrs ago, it felt like a welcome (to a very luxe) home.

Thank goodness we stayed with VIP! A customer for many ski holidays, our chalet, hosts and accommodation met expectations again! Sadly not the snow!! Admitted fair weather skiers, we enjoyed the comforts of our contemporary chalet. Meals were a highlight, our hosts proud to deliver beautifully cooked fresh food! Requests fulfilled with ease. When the snow did arrive Kipnuk was easy to ski in/out (minimal walking)and central to town Thanks again the guys of VIP ski

We were lucky that we chose a resort that was quite high as some of the other resorts around us had little snow and they are very good at keeping snow on the streets at Avoriaz. The Chalet and chalet hosts were excellent and Sam did a great job with booking various extras (e.g. restaurant booking, private ski lessons etc). Everything ran very smoothly from the flights, airport transfers and accommodation.

After having to cancel a trip due to illness we picked up a last minute booking to Avoriaz with VIP. From the making of the booking onwards we have experienced a friendly helpful welcome from all the staff in particular JoJo who made our stay in the Chalet so comfortable, such a bubbly friendly person.

Thanks for accommodating us at short notice. It wasn't the cheapest price, but Louisa(?) was lovely, so I went with it. The resort staff were all incredible and were there whenever we needed anything. Helping with the luggage and taking our shoes back to the chalet when we got our hire stuff are a couple of examples of the conscientious and kind behaviours that really helped us enjoy our holiday. VIP and their guests are lucky to have such a great crew. Euan would like to give a special mention to Jojo because she was super-sweet and hilarious, but honestly whilst the chalet life offered a great deal of convenience, it took the whole team to deliver it so well.

We had a great holiday and were very well looked after by our hosts, chalet was clean and modern. However a few points that were noted: * Bunk Beds - No way and adult could ever fit the the bottom bunk * When your guest arrive it would be great if they were told what was on offer, eg other activities on offer in the resort (up sell and promote) * Food was well cooks but portions were on the small side, chicken for example was all bone.

Had another excellent stay in Avoriaz with the VIP ski team. It was a new chalet for us (Kipnuk) and its a great location with a superb Chalet host (JoJo). In fairness we kept her pretty busy with 4 kids dinners to do and 4 adult 3-course meals to prepare in separate sittings. She worked really hard to keep us happy and everyone loved her. Would also like to mention Henry too as he helped to make sure everything from pre-departure checks, ski and boot hire, lift passes and general information was sorted out for us. We'll be back - maybe with more people next year..... as long as you don't go too crazy with the prices!

We are just back from a wonderful week ski ing in Avoriaz . We were a party of 6 (mum & Dad and two sons in their 20's with girlfriends). As a family we have skied all over France but the girlfriends had not skied before. We chose Chalet Kipnuk because of it's great location with the very best access to the village and ski ing. The big en suite bedrooms with our own balconies was also important so we could all relax before meeting in the open plan lounge before dinner. The resort management were absolutely fantastic when BA cancelled our flight with hours notice, quickly rearranging our transfer. Charlie, Ellie and Alex were brilliant hosts, they were organised, efficient and lovely people. I have two negative comments the first is the access to the chalet really needs improving. Ellie and Charlie were on hand when we arrived to help us and re arranged mats to improve access but it is difficult to get in and out particularly with ski boots on. My second comment would be on the food. Whilst the food was very well cooked and we liked the fact that we could swap some meals before we went, we found the duck and Beef Teryiaki a bit dry. Every morning Ellie provided a great selection of breakfast choices and remembered our usual cooked orders . The afternoon cakes were all lovely.

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at Chalet Kipnuk. Special thanks to our fantastic host Ellie for looking after us so well. Food was amazing and the accommodation was truly stunning. Felt very relaxed even with 4 kids in tow. Thank you also to a Charlie for helping out with lift passes and lessons for our youngest. Much appreciated. X

Fantastic week up in the mountains. Kipnuk is a fantastic chalet, could not be more comfortable and the location is great. Ellie was a superstar and looked after us amazingly well the food was perfect after a day skiing and the cookies were a winner! She even put up with some rogue karaoke! Thanks for looking after us.

The chalet was lovely, the resort was lovely, the weather shone for us all week - but what really made it was the lovely VIP folk working on the team. Honestly couldn’t be faulted. Sophie and Charlie get special mention as they really looked after us. Thanks so much! C & K

Having gone through the waiting game of France opening their boarders, our group were very pleased that we held out and didn't change our holiday to another destination. Working with the teams in the UK who provided us sound updates and advice and options if things didn't work out. This was a sound platform to what to expect for the rest of the holiday once we arrived in Avoriaz. We were met by the VIP team, Marc, Charlie and Ellie who accompanied us to our accommodation and helped with all the luggage to the rooms. The team then assisted with our ski hire collection and passes making it very seamless. The accommodation was very well presented and had all the things you need for a ski holiday with great views out over Avoriaz. Only downside were the bunk beds where we thought they may be long enough for an adult but weren't, however there was another single bed that could be used. Our hosts Ellie and Alex were great throughout the week always on hand to answer questions and give some advice on the resort. The food that was prepared from breakfast / cake and dinner were superb. Nothing was too much trouble from cooking different eggs in the morning to swapping out a meal in the evening if someone wasn't keen. One suggestion would be to advise people what the menu will be for the week in advance if possible as whilst our group had no food requirements sometimes there may be a dish that someone isn't keen on. On the hosts night off we booked into Cabane through Charlie. We would advise booking this ASAP, however I would advise your guests that its not the cheapest place to eat but the quality was worth every penny for our group. Also to request sitting upstairs near to where the entertainment is (great music duo playing modern lounge music). If you only get offered downstairs I would not recommend going through with the booking as you may as well be in a pub and its not value for money then. Departure was easy going as well from helping with moving bags at 6am to getting the final transfer back to Geneva via private hire. I would recommend this as well so you have flexibility despite the additional cost which isn't too bad between 6 people. All in all we had a great holiday and much needed after a 2 year wait and really would recommend VIP Ski for the holidays in Avoriaz. We arrived in heavy rain but the warm welcome lifted our mood. From then on Ellie (mainly) Lauren and Charlie looked after us perfectly. As a party of mainly first-time skiers, with a couple of young kids, the catered chalet experience suited us perfectly. Kipnuk was very comfortable, with great views and an ideal location. Ellie has the perfect personality for chalet hosting and did everything we could possibly expect and a little extra, all with a big smile and a great attitude. She's a credit to VIP, as is Charlie, who was always on hand to answer our queries or sort out minor issues. We ended up staying a few extra days and look forward to enjoying the catered chalet experience again soon!

We loved the chalet. It was a beautiful setting for a family holiday. Rosie's cooking and baking skills were also great - especially the brownies!

We had a fantastic week and have been brilliantly looked after by Rosie. The chalet was super comfortable and cosy with great bedrooms and bathrooms. Food has been fab. If I had a suggestion, I'd say in France it would be nice to have croissants from the Bakery in the mornings rather than frozen we can do at home as you are providing a premium holiday.

Rosie and Will were fantastic and nothing was too much trouble. Location of the chalet was perfect, and felt like home. Great food. Would return in a heartbeat !

My first hioliday with VIP and it was brilliant. Despite a nightmare journey (due to storm Ciara) the team were amazing with reorganising our transfer and waited at the airport to collect us. Chalet Kipnuk is stylish, comfortable and in a fantastic location overlooking Avoriaz. Rosie's cooking and hospitality made our trip and we cannot wait to return to Avoriaz again!

Although we have all gained a few too many pounds, the holiday couldn't have been better. Rosie was the best chalet host - amazing cooking, so helpful and full of knowledge on the area. Beautiful chalet with comfortable beds.

A truly fabulous luxury chalet and with wonderful service and cooking in an amazing ski in- ski out chalet. It really suited us as a family with its 3 large bedrooms and living space. LOVE the no cars policy which makes for very peaceful experience . Resort took a little time to get used to, but have to say it offers wonderful variety and good stretch of slopes. We would choose to come again but not at New Year (it's just v popular and busy so queueing necessary for everything which gets tiring). Our chalet hosts Harry and Rosie were amazing and worked so hard to give us a restful and fun time- they couldn't have done more and with such good humour and grace. VIP as a company was also very good, working hard to sort out a day one issue we had with lift passes, and extremely accessible and pleasant as we called several times while they "worked the problem". We have skied in many places and think this was the most comfy and hospitable suiting all of us as a family of 5 and mixed abilities

We came to the Alps as a family of parents, children and grand children to experience our first skiing holiday together. Without doubt Avoriaz is not only amazingly beautiful but is a skiers paradise. The grandchildren learned quickly within a supportive group at ski-school and were rapidly able to try green and blue pistes with mum and dad. The apartment is stunning inside and out, easily accommodating the eight of us. We were its first occupants and there were a few minor glitches, but nothing to worry about. The log fire when it worked was superb. The accommodation is modern and spacious which the children found exciting. There is only a short uphill slope to ski-in, ski-out all the way to the ski-school or the lifts which transport you to the tops of the beautiful mountains. An easily accessible lift from the main thoroughfare back up, almost to the front door, was a boon for tired legs. Rosie looked after our feeding needs and willingly adapted to the children's whims, particularly on days when they were tired from fresh air and fun. The cod she cooked one night was particularly delicious. If you're need more there are ample eating places, cafes and food stores in the village. On Saturday the Snow-cats started bringing in new holiday makers and we realised our time was nearly over somewhat sadly. We have really enjoyed the stay here and the service we have received. We all agree there is no better place to ski.
