Les Arcs was the first of its kind when the purpose built resort of Arc 1600 first opened back in 1968, built specifically for convenient skiing and giving doorstep access to the slopes. Today, Les Arcs is made up of four modern resorts: Arc 1600, Arc 1800, Arc 1950 and Arc 2000, each offering direct access to the slopes and the extensive ski area Paradiski. Arc 1950 is the most chocolate-box pretty of the resorts, with the whole resort completely pedestrianised and car-free, you can literally ski right through the centre.

Bear Lodge was the culmination of seven years' design and development during which we tried to create the ultimate ski experience. Our wing of Arcs 1950 blends seamlessly into the picturesque high-altitude village but offers a completely new level of comfort and convenience. At the giddying altitude of 1950m, our complex is located on the piste, next to the ski lifts and a short walk across the slope to the centre of the village. 30 years of listening to our guests distilled into one building.
