Suite Natsu

We had such a great holiday with VIP. The chalet is wonderful, really spacious and comfortable and right on the slopes. The pool and spa facilities are great too. The food was amazing and really accommodating for dietary requirements. Nothing was too much trouble for our fab host Lily. She went above and beyond to make our trip everything we wanted. Amazing holiday, could not recommend more.

From the moment we arrived, nothing was too much trouble. Our chalet host Lily was outstanding in every regard and produced restaurant quality meals every evening. She was a brilliant ski guide, chalet host, cook and all round top individual. The location of Bear Lodge was excellent and was truly ski in and ski out. Overall, we had the best time. We’ve travelled with VIP before and would definitely do so again. A great experience. Thank you so much to all involved.

The whole holiday was fantastic. The chalet was incredibly comfortable and really nicely finished. The spa and pool were a nice place to finish after a big day of skiing. The true ski in ski out access to the chalet worked great. Lily was absolutely brilliant as a host. Incredibly friendly, super accommodating and with a fine attention to detail. Her scrambled eggs are particularly excellent. Thank you for making it such a wonderful stay.

A wonderful chalet in fantastic area. As a beginner skier in group of experienced skiers, I found the resort has plenty to keep me occupied without being too daunting. Loads of long blues offering plenty of challenge or relaxation if required. Yet my skiing friends also had plenty to keep them occupied. The chalet/hotel style of accommodation offered a chance to be sociable outside our group if required. Our chalet host was incredible. She was very personable, discreet, knowledgeable, friendly and a fantastic cook! Charming, polite, nothing was ever a bother. The kids all loved her as well! She was amazing! Having the boot room/ski hire on site was a huge bonus. Having ski school practically on site takes away so much stress for a family with young skiers. It’s hard enough getting everyone (kids) ready with all the correct gear, without having to get on buses/walks etc first thing in the morning. A real God-send. Hotel facilities were lovely and clean, not too busy and all in excellent working order. As someone previously never particularly caring for a ski holiday, I’d be more than happy to return here again, and maybe even learn a few more skiing skills!

This was an amazing holiday from start to finish. Lily was the perfect host with a lovely manner and super food, keeping adults and children well fed and looked after. We thought that it was a great location; easy access to the piste and ski school could not have been any nearer! Thank you for a wonderful break.

We had the best trip and we’re looked after amazingly by Lilly and Georgia. Breakfast and dinner were exceptional and nothing was too much trouble. The chalet was so comfortable, the facilities were superb. We want to book for next year. Couldn’t recommend enough xxx

We have had a lovely week and have thoroughly enjoyed our time in our chalet. Lily was a delightful host to us; the food has been wonderful and her company excellent. We couldn’t have asked for more. Ellie stood in for one day and she was equally charming - nothing was too much trouble. Thank you for another great holiday.

This is our second time with VIP and one of the many trips where we rent catered chalets. And again VIP was great. We had a great Chalet catering with the lovely Lilly who took care of us always with a smile and ready to accommodate our requests.

The chalet is in a perfect location and very well kept. We had a wonderful time with our host Lily (and one night with Jemima). Everything we requested was immediately carried out. They even helped with snow equipment for our car in order to get out safely! Couldn’t have been a better week.

From the moment we met the VIP team we were quite bowled over by the warmth of our reception. Our chalet within a chalet was just perfect. It was warm, comfortable and impeccably clean. It was also very nicely designed and perfectly equipped. Emma, our chalet girl could not have been more engaging and helpful and her smiling friendly presence certainly added to our stay. She produced millions of calories of delicious and irresistible food. Perfect breakfasts, teas and dinners. We were thoroughly spoilt! The facilities were excellent with a lovely pool, sauna and steam room. It was such a bonus also being able literally to ski to and from the chalet. A highlight was Preston and Lucy with Andrew on his pipes organising a fabulous Burns night. Being all from Scotland we loved the Ceilidh. They did so well instructing everyone. We loved it! If we could give 6 stars for our stay, we would.

The 5 of us returned to Suite Natsu in Bear Lodge, this time hosted by Lily. As per last year staff were all incredibly helpful, smily and wonderful. But the star of the show was Lily who looked after us amazingly well with some wonderful meals and kind and generous hospitality. Thanks to you all x

We had an amazing week in 1950. Emma was brilliant and made us feel very welcome. Emma couldn’t do enough for us, which I know is part of the job but she went out of her way to ensure we had the best week

This was our first visit to Les Arcs and our first holiday with VIP for several years. All we can say now we're back is "What have we been missing?" The resort, accommodation, and skiing were all first class. We loved the Bear Lodge and suite. We've done ski in/out many times before but this was the closest and easiest access to the pistes we have ever had. The food and wine were amazing and the whole VIP team in resort were so friendly and helpful. Special thanks must go to our chalet host, Emma, who was without question the best we have ever had. Emma was so welcoming, friendly, and attentive. She has just the right amount of interaction with her guests and her cooking was first class. We felt like Emma was part of our family when on on holiday which is the nicest thing I can think to say about her. Well done and thanks again Emma and VIP Ski!

Sam, Amie and Georgia were great hosts. Great accommodation and location perfect. Very easy to get skis and access slopes. Lovely pool, jacuzzi and sauna area. Kids loved the cinema. Things to make it even better would be fresher bread (often v hard) and some fresh berries for breakfast. Also tissues in the bathrooms missing. Otherwise we loved it! We will return!

Thank you to all VIPSKI staff from booking (Millie & Louise) to staff at Bear Lodge (including Alex). Chalet Natsu was perfectly positioned, light and airy and right on the piste. Our chalet was hosted by Becca who was exceptional in every possible way. We are a family of three generations and Becca was outstanding as a chalet host for us. Becca provided wonderful food every day. She made such a beautiful birthday cake and yummy, healthy food too for baby Louie. (Thank you to VIP staff at concierge at Bear Lodge and also VIP staff at Geneva airport who helped us with ski bags). Nothing was too much trouble for our amazing chalet host Becca and we thank her for everything - she always had a smile and a positive attitude with such a caring nature too. Thank you for a wonderful week - just wish we could have stayed longer! We will be back - thank you VIPSKI yet again another great holiday. Thank you Becca for making our week so special. The skiing was great too!

We had a lovely time. Unfortunately, the weather was against us on Thurs/Friday/Saturday. There was only one lift open (Marmotte) all day which meant the skiing was very limited, even for our less experienced skiers, but that was not VIP's fault or choice. Instead, we just enjoyed the chalet. The staff were, as ever, just brilliant - especially Becca and Will who were our Chalet hosts - super helpful and just the right balance of being engaging but discrete too. The chalet was lovely - we hadn't been before but it was everything we could have asked for. (The boot room itself was quite small and very crowded around 9.15am to 9.30am when people have to all get ready for ski lessons, but I guess there is nothing that can be done about that without some rebuilding work....). Just a couple of things that might be worth thinking about - we opted for the extra drinks option and it was lovely to have the option of champagne each night - we weren't sure if that came with nibbles or not. We had nibbles on 2 or 3 nights but didn't want to ask. Might be worth offering it as standard as part of the upgraded package? Also, at the end of the holiday we were told that we could have asked for different meals (e.g. a burger night) but wasn't aware that that was a possibility. Both just minor comments and only because you asked what could possibly be improved. Overall, it was fantastic, thank you, and we'll definitely look in to booking again.

Great holiday from start to finish! The chalet is very well laid out and every detail seems to have been considered: the location is perfect for skiing as well as proximity to town, the layout of the rooms is great, the ski rental and facilities in the building is awesome and overall makes for a seamless holiday. Alex looked after us very well and was super friendly and accommodating, as well as a terrific chef! The staff are all very friendly and helpful in case anything goes wrong, and it’s super helpful to have everything in one place - and so close to town/skiing. VIP seems to have considered every detail in order to make the stay as seamless as possible and we’re very glad to have come here!

We had a wonderful pre-Christmas stay in Suite Natsu at Bear Lodge. As always with VIP the staff are amazing, particularly Alex and Bel who cooked delicious breakfasts, afternoon tea and restaurant-quality dinners every day, were always available to help with anything we needed and made our stay a pleasure. They were always very accommodating of our childrens' very fussy and limited eating requirements. There was always more food than we could eat and the wine choices were also very good. The suite itself really exceeded our expectations. As a new property the website showed CGI photos and details based on the original spec, but the reality of what VIP have actually built at Bear Lodge was significantly better. Suite Natsu has fabulous high vaulted ceilings in the living room and bedrooms, and a proper wood burning stove rather than an electric fire giving it much more of a traditional chalet feel than being in a hotel room. Each of the three bedrooms has ample storage space and a very nice ensuite bathroom. The location and facilities of Bear Lodge are excellent, especially the very much ski-in/ski-out positioning. Compared with other places we have been it was so much more relaxing to be able to take the lift down to the ski & boot room with direct access to the piste. There are 2 chair lifts immediately down a short hill, and another two a few minutes further down the piste, meaning you can get to anywhere across Les Arcs very quickly.

We have had a fabulous week in Suite Natsu. Lucy has been an absolutely excellent chalet host, meeting our many and varied needs with three generations staying together and a range of dietary requirements. We have been exceptionally well fed and well looked after. Lucy was also able to give us top tips about the best pistes, which lifts to avoid and how to access the mountains as a pedestrian, with a non-skier in the group. The children will be very disappointed when Lucy's not there next year! Thank you!

Lovely flat in brand new accommodation. Everything was immaculately clean and well kept. Great location next to the piste and 2 lifts. All of the staff we came into contact with were helpful and pleasant. Lucy, our chalet host was wonderful- friendly, engaging, hard working and a great cook. We had a great holiday and would definitely consider using VIP chalets again.

Fabulous chalet support from Lucy - she was friendly, helpful and a great cook. She was able to handle any queries well. Natsu was a stunning chalet, great location for ski in/ out/ great to have the ski hire available in the boot room when we arrived. However it does need some maintenance in the bathrooms so that shower water does leak all over the floor.

The Lucys did a fantastic job and the food was amazing, the service and facilities throughout the Bear Lodge were exceptional - super attentive and thoughtful touches made for a brilliant week. Grateful too for the excellent support of the concierge and the nannies. The chalets are decorated beautifully, and the space for our families was ideal. It really was one of our best chalet experiences. Thank you! Some small improvements - Natsu needs a fire glove, it is dangerous the way the stove swings back and I know the hosts have had accidents / burns. This is very dangerous for hosts and guests alike. - Showers - wet room glass in middle bedroom needs sealing at bottom to stop water flowing into bathroom - we mentioned to Lucy - boxes or similar for kids stuff- Ski famille have a named crate / box and pegs in nursery for each child to store their gloves, hats, sun cream, coats etc and to transport all the stuff between chalet and nursery. This would be an easy addition and help organise the nursery as it was a little chaotic when all the kids had their stuff everywhere. - considering older children’s activities / space in the room with nannies would be great so it feels more acceptable / age specific and fun to have older children with nannies. Or maybe just offering a ski school drop off / pick up and lunch option would be good as for a lot of families with older children this is all they want. We really did have a brilliant week - a huge thank you to everyone.

Wonderful friendly VIP people throughout our stay. Fantastic Lucy in our chalet was so kind and accomplished in hosting us. Excellent cook, so sweet with our children as well. Nanny Christina did a super job too. We really liked the flexibility the small touches gave us like hot drinks, afternoon tea, use of the pool/spa, ski hire within the hotel (although we’d booked in the village, we’d go through the boot room another time). Great holiday, thank you. *No heat proof glove for the log burner* Problem with one shower not coping with the flow of water from the top shower head and needs some intervention to prevent flooding the bathroom… On booking passes, an explanation about the Carre Neige would have been useful as I didn’t know what it was but learnt from others who took it out and then made use of it in an accident.

We were extremely impressed with the accommodation. Large, bright, well appointed and the access to the slopes and boot room were fantastic. Lucy our chalet host was excellent. The standard of menu and cooking exceeded expectation. Lucy has very helpful and a lovely presence in the chalet. She made us feel very welcome and looked after. Full marks all round.

From arriving in Geneva, the week has been fantastic. From arriving in resort and getting our ski’s, to a chalet that surpassed expectations. Then we had Lucy our chalet host, who was helpful and charming. She also was an excellent cook, she made the week perfect. We’ve had a great holiday and will hopefully be back next year.

Lucy, Ellie & Katie were all excellent and nothing was too much trouble. Food was well prepared & plentiful. Suite was spacious and very comfortable and ski in ski out was fantastic. Only minor gripes was the swimming pool & sauna out of action for a day or so and an error in the bar bill which took a little while to sort. Have travelled many times with VIP in the past & good to see them back.

Thank you for a wonderful week! Our chalet hosts Lucy and Hannah were absolutely fantastic - super friendly, professional, helpful and great at tweaking the menu for our fussy tastes! They really couldn’t have done any more. Yes there were a few first week issues with the building itself but the chalet itself was impressive - very spacious, well equipped (bath robes would have been nice) and in a superb location. And it was great to have the pool and steam room to use at the end of the day. We peeped in at the bar area but felt it lacked atmosphere - maybe dim the lights and soften the seating areas to make it more welcoming. The team meeting us at the airport were very friendly and efficient, but the mini bus definitely didn’t have the ‘VIP’ feel! Hopefully just a one off as the coach back to the airport was great.
